I found this person on csgolounge.com where he advertises to sell keys for paypal money. We came to an agreement and I would give him 15 euros for 8 keys. I transferred the money, and did it through the 'friends and family' option, like he asked. He then told me I accidently made the payment as 'goods' and he told me to try it again. We did this three times, and the third time he accepted my payment. After that however he accused me of scamming and went offline on both steam and skype. I have left him a few warnings on his wall. The next day he unblocked me on steam, and shortly told me that his credit card was not validated and he cannot refund me. I friendly asked me to trade the keys anyway, but he went offline, blocked all of the communication and deleted my messages from his wall. I realise that buying keys from third parties is a risky business I dont expect I will see my money or keys returned, but I do hope it is possible to take actions to this scammer. I have been a part of this community for 11 years, and I have a clean record, this is the first time I have a negative encounter with anyone, but I’m not gonna take it lightly. Best case scenario is to get back in touch with him and try to figure things out, I am willing to forget about it if he still decides to give the stolen amount back in keys/skins/paypal. Since now I have been banned from CS:GO Rep after telling my story in his thread, which I find highly disturbing, I am addressing this forum as my last hope for justice. I have screenshots of chatlogs and paypal history to back it all up. Hoping actions will be taken Thanks for your time, all help is appreciated! Thomas van Turnhout (steamprofile: http://steamcommunity.com/id/G-ZUS/) In attachement Ive send some more evidence: -fullchat shows our skypelog, just before he went offline. I would like to add the steamchatlog too, but I cant retrieve it since he blocked me. -one shows a screenshot of my paypal history this month -wall shows a screenshot of the warnings I have written on his wall after the scam, which he has deleted now.
@TvT - could you please add screenshots from your trade history from the time period and if you also still have the scammer in your friendlist on skype then could you please also take a screenshot of his "profile" with his username visible?
He blocked me on steam and I havent made a screenshot right away, is there any way i can retrieve it? Also is that you on the example? Dutch language OP, met die extreem negatieve energie
Edit: I also made screenshot of my trade history, and of his skype profile. Hope this helps! (Thanks again for your help guys, really appreciate it)
Heya, I'll be helping to process your report. Thank you for providing the uncropped screenshots. Do you happen to have any screenshots of the thread on or previous interaction with the moderators of CS:GO Rep! that you can provide? Their rationale for removing you will contribute greatly in resolving this report.
