I missed my bus from work that connects to another line which in turn takes me home, so my colleague drove my to the bus stop to catch the connected line from there. Unfortunately the other bus was a bit too early as well, so my colleague randomly decided to block the way of the bus so I could board it. The driver wasn't too happy with that and didn't want to let me enter, but my colleague just parked his car there until he opened the doors and let me in. Not without a lovely torrent of hatred of course, but finally he set off. As usual I go to the far end of the bus as there's a bit more space and the fun begins. He stomps on the gas pedal, just to slam on the brakes about 30 seconds later at the next traffic light. He does the same again and keeps up for the next ~20 minutes until he calms down a bit. Finally I reach my destination, press the "STOP" button and he actually stops. Lovely person that he is, he doesn't open the door, so I go to the next door. Doesn't open as well, so I exit through the driver's door where he's finally able to serenade me again. Nice person that I am I nod and flip him the bird. I walk on and suddenly I hear his lovely driving technique again - full throttle followed by full braking. Stops in the middle of the road, jumps out of the bus and runs after me. At that point I can't hold it any longer and start laughing, so he raises his fist and tells me how lucky I am that he's so good at restraining himself. Now I'm wiping my tears and thank him for saving a otherwise crappy day for me and take my leave.
is there a drivers exit in the bus? where? and if this really happend then you've got a very funny colleague and a very weird bus driver XD
 Had a similar, but not as funny, incident myself today. (100% truth) Today I went to our school cafeteria with a mate 15 minutes before our official lunch time. The place was half empty and there wasn't a single person in line so we decided to go for it. Apparently our math teacher didn't like the decision and comes yelling after us, making us go back and wait until it's our turn to eat. It's 4 minutes before our turn and there's still no one in the line, but we see how ~30 elementary school kids who eat at the same place are rushing towards us. Of course we move to the line before they come so that we wouldn't have to wait around 20 minutes for them, and every kid who comes after them, to pass (small kids always get to pass older students in line). Our teacher comes yelling again and my friend quickly escapes. I stare at the teacher in disbelief and stay in line. At this point another teacher (who by the way has no authority in our school, he's the principal of a nearby school for "kids who need help in their studies"). He's yelling at me to obey him, turning more and more red, and says that "as a government official I will call the police if you won't do what I say". I say to him, holding my laughter, "so you want to make it to Iltalehti, too?" (referring to this. The title reads: "Student took a fourth fish stick - cops called to school"). I try my hardest to make him so pissed off that he would call the police but no... Eventually he calls the headmaster of our high school. He tells everyone that no one's going to eat before this hooligan is taken care of. The crowd of my classmates that had gathered behind me walked across the hall to get food from the other side, laughing their asses off. Before our "substitute" headmaster gets to the scene (the actual headmaster couldn't give a F I guess) this red, shaking, fist-clenching nobody stares at my face for 5 minutes. During those 5 minutes I use pretty much all of my favourite lines from shows like "Ketonen and Myllyrinne" to him, saying stuff like "You have beautiful eyes" and "Do you sing? Your voice...it's so smooth and vibrant". As soon as our headmaster's minion gets there this random teacher tells how I had made him look embarassed and uses every bit of the courage he had gathered to say: "young adults just don't know what respect is anymore". He then leaves seemingly proud of his last sentence and reliefed that he hadn't hit me. After a few words I get to eat. The aftermath of me standing quietly in line? "They" told my mother who works at the same school. Wow.
my god some people are just idiots... but the thing is about teachers, they think they can do a education and teach and KABOOM they get respect! to bad for those clusterfucking doushbags they need to earn that respect, i have a lot of teachers who earned that respect... but also quete some who didnt! like this math teacher that held his hand in the air and desperatly said: halt, this is my boundry, i do not want you to cross it (we were yelling and messing around trough the classroom) so afcourse nobody pas attention to that guy. and after a couple of minuts he starts to cry. a couple of weeks later he grabbed a mate of mine by the throat (wacko wacko XD) and now he still teaches but we did ruin his carier for this part of the country XD and another great stunt that we are going to do... some guy from my class has a big stateu in his old school, now at night we are going to that stateu and place a huge penis on it xD first we must finish making that penis however... hmmmm and the other stuff... BELICIMO!!!
we actually took toilet paper, then made it wet with water. Then when he would face the board.. everybody throws the shit at the board (ofcourse it sticks all over the place) he actually screamed and throws his own table on the floor (flipped it) and ran out.. o well, the good old days..
Although it are entertaining stories, I dont completly agree with you. Ben, what you collegue did wasn't very nice, the man has a job to do and has to keep to a schedule. you were late its not his fault. And you just decide to pester him more. Well I have a hard time feeling like that busdriver is the asshole.
You dont wanna know how often I missed my bus because of that. I wonder how you would react if someone parked his car in front of yours like that. I think you would e pissed.
I would get the baseball bat that is situated in the trunk of our car just for situations like this. It's that simple actually.
Meta, maybe this helps you understand things.. although it's not that hard.. 1.) I didn't park the car there 2.) I apologised to the driver for what my colleague did 3.) he starts some verbal abuse 4.) I ignore him because I'm not a fan of trouble 5.) he doesn't open the doors when I want to get off the bus 6.) I have to leave through the door at the front where he starts insulting me again 7.) then I flip him the finger and leave 8.) he chases after me and threatens to beat me up who exactly is the cunt again?
