We at our company have a kidnap insurance for that country.
South Africa has made a big step if you see other African countries.

But what you say is partially true I think. I still remains a bit dangerous. But it won't be in the top 10

Not easy to find an objective, scientific source, but some quick google search results no top 10 lists where South Africa isn't in.

 

His crime? Parking incorrectly and refusing to co operate with the police, resisting arrest and refusing to get into the van. South Africa is a not a country on my shortlist of places to visit...
