heres the new battlefield 3 trailer it looks amazing
They kinda failed to reproduce the "feeling" though. It was like, everyone walks without being hit, obvious Sniper shot that got triggered by your presence, everyone walks again without getting hit, another obvious Sniper shot. It looks too cinematic, like the whole squad is in a movie and you're just spectating and only triggering the events; it really feels like you can just walk out in the open, while your squad is clustered against the wall. They should just trigger the shots at random intervals with the squad reacting a bit to it, shouldn't be too much effort. I like how the squads act all the time in BF3 though.
Meh if there is anything I don't like, then it's having to wait and listen while crawling over the ground for 10 minutes to take out 1 guy. Yes I realise that this is how it really goes. But I don';t play games because I want to be in a real war. I just want to relax. These endless scenes bore the hell out of me,
yeah im not that excited about the single player either its the multiplayer im interested in its just that the only gameplay trailers are of singleplayer
I guess you never played any stealth games..hell sometimes you may not even kill em D: but that's a different genre. I prefer cinematic action, the whole progress to kill just one sniper can be quite awesome, if its done right I mean, killing 10.000 guys in 5 seconds isn't really as rewarding/epic as killing one sniper you've spend time on to take him out..especially if you blow up his whole building with him! it just needs a little bit more tweaking, but then again it's just PRE-alpha gameplay, so it probably get improved.
