Where exactly do you base that on? And besides the aren't that many games that I'd like to play a second time, even though the first time was great.
Good to see I'm not the only one interested in this game And in case you haven't seen these trailers yet:
That fact that every trailer I have seen is "kill this, this way, now do this, now do that". Its like in the COD games, you play it once and its awesome because you're going around with a guy stealth killing people, but then the second time around its stupid as you know that they wont see you as long as you are told what to do. Example MGS4 on the PS3, you play that how you want, make the moves on your own and it can go a thousand different ways, I just cant see that happening on BF3.
but yeah, I have to agree with Alias, scripted liniar games have a lot less replay value. it's like movies, you buy them watch them once and then you let them rot in your dustcollection, until you feel like hey, lets watch that movie again! although I like those kind of games if it has a good story or something, but my preference slowly starts to go to free roam based or where you atleast have a bigger approach to handle a situation. these are more fun, because they're usually a lot less scripted, thus there is a lot more ways to deal with it, thus raises the replay value.
The cool thing on Splinter Cell is that you can replay it with soo much possibilities. Shall I grab him? Shall I taze him? Or fully stealth? They react everytime different.
I hope you're not talking about that piece of crap that's conviction, right? With any of the other SC games I fully agree. Same goes kinda for Oblivion, Crysis and GTA SA. Although running around with 100% camouflage in Oblivion isn't as fun as it sounds after a little while
Conviction? Omg go away. NO Splinter Cell Chaos Theory man. BEST PART EVER. There is NICE community RE-CREATING THE WHOLE GAME . Google for : project stealth game and you will find them re programing animating.
hehe, i was not critizing you, dunno why i quoted you  but chaos theory was indeed the best game of the splintercell series ps, you i think you've meant only the multiplayer, not the whole game ^^ *talking about the project stealth*
Chaos theory... got 100% on every level on that game, loved it And I miss multiplayer But yeah, point still stands, I will buy it but I just know once ive played it, I wont be playing it again.
Respect. 100% is good. Even I dont get it at every level, and I play it already more than 3 years or 4.
