Hellu! Now now, before anyone starts shouting about the headline, i'd like to add a backstory. I've been following Naruto and Bleach ever since the first episode arrived on the great intarnets and for those who can recall, that was a really really long time ago. But about a year or two ago, i just stopped due to lack of internet Connection. I got my internet connection back but as time dragging on, i kept pushing it aside and so on. So i need some help with pointing out the episode i was on and will be grateful to everyone that can help me! I can recall exactly where i was in the story, just not the episode number. So, in Naruto, storywise i was and the juncture where Pains face had been revealed, sitting on a top of some building talking with the rest of the Akatsuki members. In Bleach, i was where Ichigo had gotten his chest pierced by number (five i think, or was it seven?) with him explaining that there isn't any hope at all for him to get out of here alive and that it was a suicide run all along. Can you add me on steamfriends because there are some things I need to know first, else I might spoil 50 episodes... With the numbers, we're not talking about squad captains, right? In that case episode 162 is my guess based on what you said.
naruto is in the beginning of shippuden (don't have it downloaded so streaming it until if find it will be a bit of a chore and also allmost at my download limit haha -> stupid valve with stupid portal 2) first time you see a glimpse of pain is Episode 16 (it's the jutsu where they capture the tailed beasts so it's not actualy him in person hehe) don't think it's long after this... and i think there are some fillers you can skip ^^ not so much as the first tough so i suggest just catching up from the beginning and skip the parts you remember.
Will add you. But the dude with the dual dagger has dies, so i am definitely not on episode 16. After checking, episode 162 was not it, Naruto had not gotten as far as fighting him yet. As said, you only get to see him talking to the rest of the team members, it's the very first time pain actually is revealed in how he looks, he is sitting atop some skyscraper or whatnot.

to be honnest i dropped bleach after the reasent filler arc (and maybe going to drop the manga becaus it's getting boring)
