Is this a new feature on the servers or just a bug. 23/24 players on ALL MAPS #1 and I'll get booted on the join process.
Hopefully this is not something you've done to let admins in because it is extremely annoying to the normal players. Even the 25/24 player-system is better than leaving one slot empty always.

    So: bug or not? :)

As far as I know we still use the 26/24 system.
Did you try refreshing the server? Maybe someone joined just before you did? Has happened to me before.

this is probably because you joined at the same time as somebody else. Leaving the impression to the server browser that a slot is free, but on the server there isn't. hence why you get the message of the reserved slot. We're still using a 24/24 with 2 hidden admin slots.

I did try for several minutes and it was the same thing every time. 23/24 and dropped at every connect.

I did get in eventually and after that it seemed to work alright. Perhaps there was someone as stubborn as me ;)

Seems to work fine now though. Over and out.

what i do know is that if you join a game at the same time when somebody that has a reserved slot reservation you get dropped if he is ingame quicker then you. (this has always been the case, no way to fix that though) so if the server was busy and reserved slot people where joining (admins usually) then it can happen. If this continues to a "really bad degree" look me up on steam and i will go through the logs/server files to see if there are any issues.

Thanks for clarification, Snelvuur. I don't think theres any need for that at this point though :)
