What exactly does this mean? I assume I was selected at random to be kicked out for this? It's a bit annoying to queue for 15 minutes, play 1 map for 30, then get kicked... Especially if one of the servers only has 4 people in it
Can you expand on this a little bit? I'm assuming an admin joined, then it kicked you out. I'll let you know now, this shouldn't happen so sorry about that! The only reason I can see it for happening is because all the reserved slots for admins were taken up (so slots 25-31) and then another admin joined, so it had to kick someone. However, I cant imagine that many admins were on the server at the same time :s
That is weird. It shouldn't happen. We've got a system with hidden slots that admins can use to join a full server. Shouldn't kick anyone.
I was on AM1. It was inbetween maps when it happened, but it was full at 24 as the map ended... and I actually don't know who's an admin, so I can't really answer the last point... Also, sorry if the first post was a bit brusque. Just more confused as it's not the kind of thing that happens on LZ, rather than trying to blame anyone.
Yeah of course, what time was this (roughly) btw? I can have a check. And yeah, it shouldnt happen, so I can maybe have a look for you and see what happened
I also got this message a lot of times some days ago, I was trying to join an AM server (23 players, no problem at all) and every single time I tried I got this. I don't think is the update, antou, as I said, it happened to me some days ago, before the update.
i've also seen this on saxton with people, something needs a update i assume. They did change the "status" command, this might be something (it was for sourcebans) unsure though.
Not sure what it is. http://wiki.alliedmods.net/Reserved_Slots_(SourceMod)#Reserve_Slots On AM1 (and every other server) its set to 0. On the other hand this is set. So basically... if you join a reserved slot you get kicked right away. If you are already in you should stay. Sure its not the ping kicker that boots you?
thats fake ping, with arbitrary rate commands, set your rate cl_cmdrate and cl_updaterate to sensible values instead of using + signs or disparity between the cmdrate and updaterate to fake your ping to be low good values default: rate 10000 cl_cmdrate 30 cl_updaterate 20 medium (1/2 tick): rate 30000 cl_cmdrate 33 cl_updaterate 33 max: rate 60000 cl_cmdrate 66 cl_updaterate 66 cl_updaterate always SAME as cl_cmdrate. you either have values like: cl_cmdrate +66 or some like this: rate 10000 cl_cmdrate 66 cl_updaterate 30
EDIT: I set it to the default 10000/30/20, and it still showed a ping of 6 when I was playing AM1 (I'd also never changed it from whatever the preset is as far as I know)... (I originally tested it on the 2fort server where it showed 20, but that has more players anyway).
can it be possible that a player joined just by typing in control box: connect ip-adress? cause you can join that way to, wether the server is full or not.
You have admin rights though don't you? People with admin rights it works for, regs it shouldn't work for.
