OK so no one has actually posted anything related to E3 yet but I'm sure some of you might start seeing stuff that you want to share during the course of the event. My personal favourite so far: <a class="postlink" href="http://gamersushi.com/2012/06/04/ubisoft-debuts-their-impressive-new-ip-watch-dogs/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://gamersushi.com/2012/06/04/ubisof ... atch-dogs/</a>
yeah i was given a trailer of that game yesterday by a mate and was just amazed that such a sweet looking game got under my radar D: really looking forward to that gta/deusex/max payne game ^^
I saw the Assassins Creed III gameplay trailer. Climbing and racing frozen and snowed trees and rocks? Nah, that's too far. The building climbing was already pushing it sometimes, but this is ridiculous. The man has spiderman hands.
Yeah, jump from the biggest building and catch onto a slight bump in the side of a building. I got bored after the second.
Oh, the Watch Dogs thing looks rather awesome btw. But I feel that it's either console only or very poorly ported for PC.
Posted nothing from E3 huh? Well, I used other games threads and didnt want to spam it under with all the E3 new games, should have thought of this kind of thread instead. anyway, i've seen the watch dogs video yesterday, reminded me a lot of pably > he's going to be everywhere. I thought the naval sea combat looked pretty cool though, reminded me a lot of the good old times with Sea Dogs 2. (better known as Pirates of the Caribbean) but the rest of AC3 looks pretty much mweh, then again I stopped playing after AC2. Wuh? Graphics are too good to be a console, not quite sure how it looks like a bad port? Hadn't checked that thread jer, thought it was old. Edit: Watch Dogs will be current gen - 360, PS3 and PC <a class="postlink" href="http://www.videogamer.com/xbox360/watch_dogs/news/watch_dogs_is_an_xbox_360_ps3_pc_title_ubisoft_confirms.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.videogamer.com/xbox360/watch ... firms.html</a> It will be multiplayer, in a unique way: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.videogamer.com/xbox360/watch_dogs/news/online_is_the_dna_of_watch_dogs_ubisoft_teases_new_multiplayer_details.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.videogamer.com/xbox360/watch ... tails.html</a> And uses an entirely new engine: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.videogamer.com/xbox360/watch_dogs/news/watch_dogs_is_being_built_on_a_brand_new_engine.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.videogamer.com/xbox360/watch ... ngine.html</a>
I dunno, it just looks like a console game. The feel, the way the select menu is organised. Stuff like that
well, the gameplay trailer is done on a console, so it's gonna look and feel like a console game. We haven't seen pc gameplay yet. But they will either make it more pc friendly later on or they don't. Most games are ports, because most developers seems to figure that consoles attract more profit. is that an excuse to give pc a console controls and stuff? no, that's just lazy. yet we've sucked it up for long enough. though there seems to be that devs seems to care a little bit more about the pc these days, giving it better textures, more graphics options, improved controls etc. Eitherway we just have to wait for PC gameplay, then we can judge it correctly!
