Was there ever anything to like?
EA was the main reason I stop playing the new Command & Conquer games

The problem is that they manage to publish lot of good games.

We need more things like the BFBC boycott that Sarcastic Gamer had ages ago.

Yes they do, look at the bottom of the battlefield 3 website where they advertise the companies involed in the game, Dice is on that list. If they didnt exist then they wouldnt been on that list.

Yeah.... and each year the re-release them again... and again...and again.....
Update policy sucked back then. Still sucked with BF2 so it probably never changes.

Valve has bad things but they DO support their games.

I hope politics will take this kind of things more seriously...EA is raping there own costumers, which are mostly kids, with no overruling customer protective care...

The funny thing is that the founders of EA run away from ATARI, because they didn't get credit (and respect) so they invented the first easter egg...

The employees of DICE are still the employees of DICE. Whether the bills go to EA or not. Therefore DICE is still DICE.

And Khadgar, I don't think that BF3 is a simple re-release. It's an actual new game. And Yes Valve supports their games better, no doubt. That's why I don't hate Valve but I do hate EA.

Edit: Just pulled this from the official BF3 Facebook:
Seems like DICE still exists to me.

Like i said eailer i know that EA owns Dice but Dice is still a games develper company. If it wasnt the game would have to developed and published by EA instead of being developed by Dice and Published by EA.

Yeah but when a company is fully owned they pretty much have to take orders of there investors/stockholders (in this case EA)...be happy BF3 is a big success otherwise EA would get more into there business.

Kill: I think you do know that names don't mean shit...managers are pointed out by the top, very short-term and in my experience killing creativity in an idiotic manner. I dont know the business plans of DICE, but I bet you most of the original creative minds on DICE are gone. Wouldn't be the first company of EA where the brains flee...

I figured only the higher guys would be replaced, but the developers themselves would stay.
