[vimeo]16292363[/vimeo] Pretty sick considered its been made in 1972 FWI Pong (a stick and a ball) was made in 1975 EDIT: HEY KILL WHERE ARE YOU
They managed to photoshop Hitler into a crowd of demonstrating people around 1935 so well, that it took until 2010 for us to prove it was false. Photoshopping... Without computers... I've seen the picture, and it was indeed done marvellously.
So you say Hitler was photoshopped? He never existed ? and was just created so the people could think, if that ugly small fella could do it, so can we....it all makes sense now...never finding the body n stuff. all seriousness, you mean this one?
Yes, Avatar was the first 3D who got most cinema watchers .. got more than Titanic. Yes ofc there have been many good 3D movies before Avatar but, Avatar survived best.
Let's say it was the first movie mixing actors and animated characters in 3D ^^ . In fact it was nothing revolutionary but it used a lot of specific technologies, plus 3D movies were just lifting off in theaters so yeah : it's described as the first good 3D movie but it's just the one who got the most media coverage .
There is a difference between 3D on a 2D screen and 3D with the glasses and stuff. If I'm not mistaken, this is about the 3D on a 2D screen. In the category 3D on a 2D screen lots have been achieved and done and avatar doesn't even fits in there since it's with actual humans, and is not really animated.
Not everything is done with actors behind ; for example, I think the animal in the jungle are computer-made.
i was talking about 3D not 3D animation, Big difference . and much more, some off the "actors" are computer animated Dont ask me which one off those are computer made. still in my project to watch Avatar.
never say this to an animator of avatar It is animated by humans...even the humans are also animated (with help from the motion capture ofc). They are pretty mad @ david cameron, telling the whole world it was done with only motion capture
I am fully aware that there is animation in Avatar, but it's not an animation movie, like e.g. Kungfu Panda. That uses 3D on a 2D screen. By talking about Avatar as the first good 3D movie, I thought you meant the 3D vision. Because saying it was the first good 3D animation is pure, utter, complete bullshit.
