So, who wants to go there this year?
It takes place 22 'till 25 of August 2013 in Cologne (Köln), Germany.
I'd say try and find 1 day on which most people can come visit. But first, who's interested? Post here!

Gamescom is a lot of fun, you can play all kinds of new games there and get merchandise and stuff. It would be pretty awesome to meet some of you there :)

I'm in! Never missed a show for the past five years.

Take a good advice from an experienced visitor. If you really want to see much stuff - plan in more than one day. There a more and more visitors every year. The last time they had to stop letting people in because the halls where to crowded. The waiting lines for the presentations of top titels are usually getting ridiculously long - especially on the weekend up to 5 hours. But there are plenty of boothes where you don't have to wait too long to get your hands on a game. A good plan for a day is: Pick a game you want to see - let's say the new Assassins Creed - look up where the ubisoft booth is, be at the gates early (if possible get a press pass so they will let you in earlier plus you can use the free wi-fi in the press lounge), when gates open run directly to the booth and hope that get a good spot in the line, enjoy the presentation and get your hands on the game afterwards, the rest of the day look around the halls, see some stage shows, grab some goodies, look where waiting times are short and try some games there, maybe watch some live action from the WCG if you are interested.

If someone of you guys wants to go there but has no place to stay for the night, I can offer one in Wuppertal. (In fact, I have so much space, I could house a whole Kindergarten, lawd)
Not sure if I'll visit the GC myself though.

I might actually be able to go. Really depends on my other plans for August... Some unstable plans atm, so yeah. I might be there.

Saturday++ == I increment the "Saturday" variable. Otherwise I would have said something like Weekday++ :p
And if I wanted Sunday, I would have gone for ++Saturday, if you want to follow C++ logic here :p
