I'll be spending the next five months in Switzerland's military, so will only be available (if at all) during the weekends. Shouldn't be much of an issue, as I don't have any LZ duties which I'm aware of.
Can you send us some pictures while you are out there? Would be interesting to see how's it going. It's just a matter of about two years till I have to go there too, but I am going to stay there for 12 months 8) As they say in here: "Aamuja, paljon aamuja"
In Britain, joining the military isn't compulsary I actually want to join the army as a reservist later down the line, Good luck out there!
Make sure the nozzle of any gun is always pointed AWAY from you. Especially when there are bullets near, in the magazine and even more if in the chamber.
As if that wasn't obvious enough P.s. Morrolan, Don't EVER get shot in the foot, or anywhere. It hurts. I speak from experience.
I go to a monthly clay shoot, were you rarely see accidents. First aid was my best friend at that point
I'll be sure to take some pictures, though it'll probably take a few weeks. No worries, there'll be plenty of safety training before we'll get to shoot. (Not to mention that we've already disasembled & cleaned the unused gun, once :lol Haha, I'll try to keep that in mind. Though I can't guarantee it when there's a big fat spider on my foot.
