I tried to find a old post of mine here, where I am talking to LuckyLuke about settings in x264, but that search box is in no means searching on the site. no idea what the settings are, but if one searches, one would expect ONLY results from Lethal-zone.... not plain google. I know all about the site:blah and inurl:blah but thats not the point.
Alternatively use Google and use its "search on one site only" functionality. e.g. On that topic though, I've seen several sites already where this "Google custom search" is doing the exact same thing it does on here, maybe that one's merely thought to embed a Google search, and not to search on a specific site. *shrug* Edit: Oh, you know about that one already.
yeap... My problem with such is, if its just google, whats so "custom" then..... I DONT get LZ results? ? or wha? sure, the results look slightly different then "normal" Google, but its basically the same results, just a bit differently shown. If I just want to search Google, I can go to top right of my browser, and start a new tab with it, in fact, I'd prefer that over the "custom" for w/e there is customized, I dont know, therefore I may not agree to what is left out or put in. (apart from the framing around of LZ, which is imo more a hindrance with browsing it). Such a custom search would be a additive if it was just searching LZ, and all its affiliation stuff, like: - lethal-zone.eu - Youtube channel - w/e pages or things that aren't linked on LZ's site, but are closely related. For with that I would be able to search for something and find all LZ related. Thats imo a "customization of the results" which add value.
