    Since a couple of weeks now I've noticed that I can't anymore see through sunlight...at all!

    Like this: [IMG]

    It makes playing kinda hard + it also drops my fps dramatically...any console commands to disable the rays?

    I messed around with video settings tonight and changing HDR, color correction, shading etc won't do anything.

    I think it's the DirectX level you use for css (9.0c probably) have you always used 9.0c or did you use a different version by using -dxlevel>, I've used 81 for css for a while now, it's still legal (7 and 8 will give you an advantage, some textures not showing so thats not legal), this was posted on GotFrag a while ago too, and I can't find the topic anymore but everyone seemed to say "change your dxlevel" because other things had no effect

    tl;dr: Try putting your dx level you use for css to an older version
    Steam -> Games -> Counter-Strike:Source -> Properties -> Set launch options -> -dxlevel 81
    You can put other commands in here aswell, here's mine for example:

    -noforcemaccel -noforcemparms -heapsize 520000 -dxlevel 81 -refresh 85 -w 1024 -h 768
    Noforcecommands to stop windows mouse acceleration, heapsize to use 512 mb ram for css or something, dxlevel for my directx level etc

    Yes, but I played just fine after the update. I noticed this maybe 2-3 weeks ago.
