Just an Idea

Capabilities yes.. time and people.. no.. intentions are to make a trade event or raffle perhaps too.. i dont know.

 

If you have an idea for such a tournament, feel free to post it here and I'm sure we can do something.

The thing is, its more a thing of manpower than of servers of "capabilities". If you can however get enough people to help you hosting such an event, that would be pretty awesome.

 

I want to work on a trade event, but first I need some more powers to do that and the right people (e.g. trade admins which I will "make" soon enough)

 

That depends entirely on the event you are trying to host.

Think of something that might work, come back here, and we can work it out together in the community.

 

A wise decision

 

Í've tried hosting a BBall tournament before, but it was so hard to get people from outside to join. It became a LZ Reg only thingy, which wasn't the intention. But we're larger now, and maybe we could make it work.

For a good event you need several active people, an original idea and preferably something to draw people in (prizes). If someone has a good idea for a nice event, I'll do my best to help out and make it work. Including getting people in.

 

Sounds like a possibility.

Things you should think about:
- Date
- Timespan
- Rules
- Tournament Format
- Team Size
- Prizes

How would you like to see the tournament get shaped? Fill those questions and you're a long way already.

 

I can donate some prices, like keys or metal.

 

How you want the structure of the tournament to be. Single knock out, group phases leading into quarter/semi/grand finals. Do you want it to be a one night event, should it take longer. Keep in mind that if you make a tournament of multiple days/weeks that it'll get harder for everyone to be able to play all the days, however the tournament will have the possibility to be larger.

 

I would help with organising and generally helping for any kind, so if you need some people to help, feel free to inform me

 

If we're going through with this, a double-elimination format would be nice. Maybe even have someone assign the teams a seed, so we don't have match ups that are decided from the start anyway, like we had with the bball tournament (oh the horror).

 

Just an idea:
Winning award:
1st price: Clan Pride "Lethal-Badge" Descritption: Winners of the 1st Lethal Zone (put tournament name here) tournament. Man, you are lethal!
2nd price: hat (1per person)
3rd price: a low value strange weapon?

 

I like the clan pride idea.

but kinda expensive since you have to pay for clan pride ( for each person of the winning team ) + x nametag + x descrtiption tag ( x stands for the amount of players in the winning team)
