I noticed some guys using an |LZ.rus| tag on the tf2 servers, I will upload a screenshot if I should see them again. Is that some kind of russian ripp off? (no offense) They are kinda messing up the LZ tag... I tried to talk with them, but they don't aswer, and they are quite bad ingame... Maybe something should be done about this
I've heard about them before, but never seen them. In my opinion action should be taken. However, leave a senior admin do it. Perhaps me and Qball/Fix will be able to sort this out further. Thank you for letting us know.
Saw them once on our servers with |LZ| tag next to their name. Then someone told me they've changed it to LZ.rus. Think, they're just messing around with our tag. Will try to talk to them next time, but I'm quiet sure they won't listen, bloody russians
no response, ban um temporary. it not like we are gonna miss a few russians (no offence to to good russians out there) but most of them are 6 year olds with microphones.. (we should check sourcebans, see how much is russia hehe)
I really hate ragging on the Russians but most (Not all mind you!) hardly can nor want to speak American. To even get ones attention, i have to literally insult them to get a respond in highly shoddy English. No, in don't do that on a regular basis but once when i played Cod:Z, i had two Russian guys who refused to listen to me and my other teammate and that got us killed in the end. Long story short, after what felt like 1 million messages i started spilling out insult just to see if they would react at all. As soon as i insulted them, they responded. The point of this story is, i really have a dislike for most (Again, not all!) Russians since most refuses to speak nor give you any attention at all. And it's really infuriating. On the bright side, once on the LZ hale server, we had a couple of Russians whom kept taking in Russian over the chat when i kept saying with bold letters and whispering them that it was an English only server. Another person, who also was Russian (As far as i could tell, pretty much everyone was as surprised as i was to him being russian) sent them a message on Russian more or less telling them politely that it was an English only server and that it had to be respected, or else they would be shown to the door. Since they didn't pay the message any attention, i politely gave them the boot. But at least i had another fellow Russian to back me up. The moral of this story? Not all Russians are bad, some are friggin' awesome.
Haha, lol'd. Yes, that was my mistake, i meant to write: speak English. Look who's talking now, i guess.
