Map fixing and new maps

    Hello there, my name is Dephaistos. I am very new to the Lethalzone community, and also a very new admin.

    Although some of you might have seen my "introduce yourself" post, i will put some of the same information on this post.

    As i said, my name is Dephaistos and i am a new admin for Lethalzone, and also a new mapper. I might not be as experianced as the other LZ mapmakers, but i will be very active, and also very eager to learn. I make all kinds of maps, mostly VSH, as i play alot on it.

    This post has 2 purposes. The first, which is the most important, is to give you a place to inform me about certain exploits or bugs in VSH maps, which need fixing. If you post it here i will most likely see it in a day or two (if you are lucky a few hours), and i will put it on my great fixing-list. When fixed, i will, in my turn, post it here, with the information of what was exactly changed.

    So if you have any information about any map in any of the VSH or FF servers, tell it to me HERE, dont add me or steam or anything like that.


    The second purpose, which is more for myself, is to inform you about certain projects i am working on. Once in a few days/weeks, i will post screenshots of new maps i am working on. I then hope that you amazing people will help me refine and optimize this map :3. Say what you tink! What you like, or what you dislike. Anything you would like to see on a map and something you would like to be put away! This really helps me, so please, give me your opinion.

    This is only valid for VSH maps.

    It's ok to have a topic with all your maps and such, but no need to have several topics with the same purpose.

    Also, we use Confluence for everything lz related, so mapping aswell. It's like a wiki for LZ. There is a page for vsh maps in general and childpages for each map. You should use that tool aswell when fixing certain maps, to add your changes etc. Also, we (lz mappers) like to edit maps we already worked on in the past.

    Not quite sure why we use Jira and Confluence then.

    Darkness puts a lot of effort in keeping the map pages on confluence updated. I guess this doesnt exactly make him want to keep that up.

    Just saying.

    He updates the wiki already, so that's good. Bit sibce the list might be big and he is fresh, jira might be overkill. I'll tell him anyways though. Perhaps he finds it handy.

    I forgot the name of the map, but maybe you know the portal vsh arena. If you rocketjump on the LZ logo and jump on the right side down, you get out of map, and hale can't reach you.

    I think it'll be good to fix that
