I don't want to offend people that supported melee sudden death, but personally i regard it as bad move for LZ servers. Why? Because melee weapons are not the same in this game. Last time I died as GRU heavy BEFORE I could even make it to the battle field. I had preset only 100 hp (for some unknown reason) and every second lost 6 hp (because that's how the unlock works). Another round i get stuck up with a worthless axtinguisher while Equalizer soldiers or (insert some other overpowered melee here) dominate the round. For the love of God, change this. Do whatever you want to do, make it stalemate, normal sudden death, award wins based on the points but no melee sudden death.
That's because it's not as we want it to be, because of some bugs valve should fix ; normally, it should be everyone with the same class and the same weapon.
Well, I never experience it... I did experience a loss because of timelimit on a payload map. if it are bugs we can fix, perhaps install it for the payload maps as well, so it happens more often, and we can fix it.
valve screws us over big time.. before the polycount update we where running fine, i was updating all servers so it would run smooth. Now this crap .. arghlz
valve fucked us hard with the last update :doubt: half of the plugins we ran are busted or don't work how they should... will disable it for now
Before the update everyone got switched to the same class with the same weapon, but valve screwed the plugin, so i say remove it for now, and re-install it when the bugs are fixed.
thank you very much. On a sidenote, does that end prematurely payload maps when server map time runs off? cause i started to get that now.
I don't like it though. Just let us finish the round. It's not like in a 5cp that in theory the match can continue endlessly if the middle-point gets recapped everytime.
Was playing doublecross today, the map time ended in a draw so we had a melee sudden death? Thought you removed it? (Was either all maps 1 or 2 dont know which)
