Hi, Apparantly some people are interested in forming up a new team for Highlander squad. Let me know if you're interested and then we can see if we can put up a team . <a class="postlink" href="http://doodle.com/zt3duqir8sdt24tv" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://doodle.com/zt3duqir8sdt24tv</a> Post your experiences and 2 classes you're playing the most in this topic and in the doodle For those who think they don't have the skills. I can always set up a practise match and you can join in. Afterwards you can still decide if you want to go through with it or not
Sounds fun. You can count me in (and onv prolly too <3). Edit: Can play Medic/Heavy/Spy Played some highlander lobbies. And well I was medic in lz.white for some time.
For that I've made a Doodle: <a class="postlink" href="http://doodle.com/zt3duqir8sdt24tv" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://doodle.com/zt3duqir8sdt24tv</a>
I hesitantly express my interest. Ages ago I was part of the first LZ.war squad, but quit in the end since 6v6 wasn't my cup of tea. Currently I'm just really, really, really rusty at everything it seems. Probably because it's been ages since I played TF2 remotely seriously. So I'd need to thoroughly train my class again. Are there any important rules to highlander? Like weapon restrictions or something? It's best if you put that thing in the opening post so nobody misses it.
I would be interested, but I can't tell now if I'm gonna have enough time. Plus, I don't have any competetive experience besides playing against certain comp players on LZ all maps . I wanted to try for a long time though. But haven't found the time yet. I could play Sniper, Scout, Demo, Spy, Engi or Heavy. But Sniper and Scout sure are my better classes.
You can always train on the mge-servers You will probably find you match there OT: I can be a spare soldier or medic. My experience? Some competitive matches in div 6 and some mixes.
MGE training is more for 6's, its okay and all but not necessary for highlander. We are not aiming for anything extremely serious, div 5/6. As long as we can get a consistent team being rusty shouldnt be that much of a problem. Complete ruleset will probably be announced somewhere this week. It will probably be quite similar to last seasons rules which you can check here: <a class="postlink" href="http://etf2l.org/rules/highlander-rules/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://etf2l.org/rules/highlander-rules/</a> As you can see most weapons are allowed. Just a few which are considered OP or troll weapons are not allowed. From what Ive seen your sniping skills are quite good. As a highlander sniper (especially in the lower divisions) thats all you need Besides that, the doodle is quite useless like this tbh. Pick 2 classes at most.
Idd, just pick your 2 best classes. I can play demo and sniper as well, but those aren't my best classes. But then you have to give a good example asbak EDIT: NVM
I wouldn't mind giving it a shoot Not epic at anything so I guess anything could be good from classes
For those who aren't sure about joining or not. We can always set up a practise match. You can join in and decide after that match if you're up for it or not.
I could play scout or solly . Don't consider myself good at any really. Just need time and days. Since I'm playing for a ugc highlander team on mondays. Experience : Played in the round robin (Idk if that counts ) + Played in Steel then they moved us up to silver and then to platinum all in one season... :/
Afraid I cannot commit to regular practices, haven't so much as launched the game for about 2 months. But if you are really stuck for players and I am online then I can be a backup.
