    Its all craft hats. hmm.

    prolly:
    - very low sales
    - high turnover with dropped and then crafted

No all copies or versions of these hats remain unaffected in backpacks. Their quality won't change.

I bet a lot of people are buying them now in the shop in bulks hoping for a good price in the future.
Too bad most of them are shitty, the Stash, Belt and Fro are the only good ones imo.

But why the fuck would they do it? What is their gain?

    1. No one buys those hats from the store anymore so they drive up the sales of them
    2. Fuck the tf2 market up.

It will be really interesting to see how the tf2 economy reacts to this.

This is what I was thinking, too.

Don't think it will affect the market much though, these hats are only wanted for their vintage quality.

Ofc some crazy people will try to sell them for too much, but it will calm down again.

Yeah, those "Generation 1"-hats were sold in 5€ starter packs, so they became really damn common.
So my very first hat drop - my beloved Vintage Fancy Fedora - became pretty underwhelming. :doubt:

    Clean? Dirty? Wat?

You do actually. If you dont plan on using any of it, I'd say sell as much stuff as you can in the steam market. You can sell all your paints and genuines there which you have quite a lot of. As soon as more is allowed to be sold you can sell the rest like strange grenade launcher and high five taunt which are worth a nice amount.
