Hey all, I have recently been working on my new website, which I will be using for some blogs and stuff (wordpress)... I have got the basics laid down, still need to add the content, but the design is done (missing a few monsters that I will draw when I have time). <a class="postlink" href="http://elliothesp.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://elliothesp.co.uk/</a> Can people please comment on what they like and DONT LIKE, spill it out, I like criticism
You should make it W3C compliant, which is honestly not very hard and means you can put their little picture on your site. <a class="postlink" href="http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Felliothesp.co.uk%2F&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http% ... ne&group=0</a> You only have 13 errors, and most of those are likely to be repeated on each page if you used the same template for each page. Other than that it looks good, better than the crappy one i did.
Design is strong and elegant, I like it very much. Saw few errors like unclosed tags, but you probably fix that already. Also can you tell me why did you use DIR=LTR parameter at the header? I thought it's left-to-right by default?
There was a forum smiley when I clicked the link of "site under construction" it just looked awful compared to the rest, and you used black text on dark grey back ground there. Didn't even bother trying to read it. Rest looked awesome.
And where's the magic? How can you run a site without a nice looking button that can solve world hunger?
Nice... I'm currently experimenting with HTML5+CSS3 too. Not bothered too much by Internet Explorer ? x)
