Hey guys, I just wanted to inform you my PSU decided to stop working for no apparent reason (I've been watering it on a regular bases, read books to it, cuddled, ...). The doctor said it's going to be OK after a waiting period of 10-14 workdays.
Damn, that would be an issue if I wouldn't know how to do calculus and thus would need Mathematica almost every day to get around pages of stupid calculation. Also it's not like all of my music is on that PC, games of course, ICQ (my window to everything outside my city basically), ...
2 possible ends of this: a) buying a new PSU in exchange for a lot of money, b) waiting till my old one is fixed. Murphy's hidden issue c) is it's not the PSU but my motherboard is jammed, I'll wait 14 days to recieve a letter the PSU I sent in was perfectly OK and I'm a retard that will have to pay for shipping both ways in addition for their wasted time, my cat dies and the world freezes in a nuclear winter. (I secretly hope it's a or b)

    tl;dr: SNAFU
    :(

I sure hope for your sake it ain't C, but then again, Murphy is almost always right. ;)

And it would make you feel like a total ass, you couldn't play for all this time, and you have to pay a lot of money anyhow.

    Sorry to annoy you again.
After having searched the cellar for new PSUs (my father has a huge lot of electronic crap, most of it worthless, some not so cheap) there. Did find a 400W PSU without SATA support, also there was no power supply for my graphics card.
Well, asking my father personally he gave me a 700W PSU with anything you can imagine (got a huge load of redundant cables in my tower now) which was about €1500 when it was bought. Someone at his company must have thought it's broken, so they threw it away, and guess who's good ad judging broken stuff ...
    Well, I'm back online.
To the old PSU: Up yours. (I hope the new one that will replace you in 14 workdays will be better than you. You're a shame for any PSU on the planet.)

Edit: This is how the cables look like. You can only see those I couldn't already hide between my DVD/HD drives. (HiRes just to show off how amazing my camera is)
