    Hey,

I'm looking for a program that can restore history and logs IM and social media sites.
I need this for my job. I work at a grouphome and one of the kids, we believe, is doing illegal stuff on the internet.
So who can help me with this?
    Thank's a bunch!

    Grtz Mona

Just go through the history of the browser, most people are not even clever enough to remove that.

Unfortunately he is. He deletes history after he's done. But is there a way to get it back?

Also, you can block instant messaging by configuring your firewall to block the ports used by IM programs.
But, as far as instant messaging can actually be useful in the business environment, you better control it rather than simply block it.
Akonix and Symantec programs can be used to monitor and control IM communications by group/user policies and capturing usage statistics and other information.
You can, for example, allow chat but prohibit file sharing between IM programs.

And as Snelvuur said you can always install simple keylogger to capture typed data.
Keyloggers come in two types - hard and soft based.
Hardware devices like KeyGhost are small devices that install between the keyboard's connector and the USB port on the computer.
Software keyloggers can be configured to send the captured keystrokes to you on a remote computer. Advise you to try CNE or SpyRecon.

Another option is to have the ICT dude create group policies which prevents stuff like cleaning the history ;)

As a "bad person" mysql when i was younger, install a keylogger. You always want to give they guy the "idea" that he is still doing "right" as in.. go about his ways. You can gather much more intell.

If one of the lethal zone boxes get compromised because of some hacker, i normally dont close the whole untill i have enough information to actually look up the guy. Usually find some trace and i actually go chat with the guy saying i am more elite and he trembles in fear and then bows to my skillz... and ow darn it, my 3l1t3 mode came back on... sorry, have to turn off, have tooo.. arghhzllzl

I think it's best to try the keylogger and see what happens. We don't want him to be alarmed, just do what he normally does.
    Thnx for the info!
