reset points in vsh help plz

The fact is that the stat database has been reset. So basically the points of everyone have been reset =)

What i just dont get, joker played 1.5 hours and got 5k points. He has not played since that first day the stats have had a reset and people with 10 days playing time have still not matched the same amount of points.

 

Smells like hacking/cheating you're saying?

Even Boogie can't do such a thing

Edit: Hm most played class with Spy (kd of 3.1)... I'm not sure about this but it looks like pointfarming to me.

 

I had the same thoughts and went to look at the events at the stats.
I didnt find anything so I thought maybe he did get legit but dunno how.

Point farming is actually really common now. You'll see someone doing it almost everyday.
Dont forget to also get the message to him.

 

No. We're not allowing it. Its just sometimes admins arent on like in the morning. Which people would just take advantage of that. I've banned a bunch of people in these 2weeks. Its really sad. And also how mamy of our vsh admins are actually on? Most of them are now busy or just aren't there that much. I could tell you which I actually see and its not a high number compared to how many we have.

 

well the ranks are from both vsh and ff2 server.
so there is no way a ff2 admin can also look at the vsh(i also think ff2 admins have no rights on vsh servers)
i am only at the ff2 server there i try to do the best i can to stop this.
even thought i am only able to try stop this on ff2 cause i am not really active on the normal vsh servers
and joker must be a vsh player cause i never saw him on ff2 so u have to ask the vsh admins

 

Joker (If it's the guy I think it is) has already been punished for this via ban and point reset, so if you don't mind sb checking him and if it confirms it's the guy banned for pointfarming then you can just do it for a month or so.. just saying.

And yes there's people who just come online in the middle of the night to point farm (don't know why it's useless) but if it's already that impossible and blunt obvious then just reset his points and ban.

 

We don't have any proof, do we?

this stat tells me that he started with 4660 points when it was reset he either hacked or there was a bug when the stat reset. i'd say just completely reset his stats manually. if his points magically go back to 5k again, ban him

 

I've placed him to 0 points now, but if i look at his sessions he has 3x 4.5k or so, but he has not got 15k in total. So it actually might be a bug. Lets keep an eye on this guys.
