Also so many issues with the rules, not being able to select your loadout, or getting kicked for no reason while speccing. The rules are removed on all servers, in all fairness we have the /calladmin (or !calladmin) function now which you can call a admin if there are any issues. In light with the rules see it like this: If we put 100 euro's on a market square with a note "dont take it", trust me the next day its gone. Same with our rules. The rules are ment for script kiddy's and spammers and hackers, but THEY are the people that need it and just say "i agree" or skip the rules and do it anyway. So why would we sitll need it then? We will work on some new triggers like !rules, and make that weblink showing/outlining some simple rules which basicly is only needed if somebody is "uncertain" of a action and wants to call a admin. So i think a lot of people will be happy now, more then "unhappy" people, which should never be the case with something we implement.
yeah I agree, its like when you sign up for a website or install some software, no one ever reads the text thats there, they just look for the quickest way to get rid of it which is "I agree". Imo, with the calladmin and having a !rules announcment would be the best solution here as long as they are advertised all the time. Is there no way to keep some text on the screen so they are ALWAYS there?
most common lies - i have read and agree with the rules - i read and agree with the terms above
I thought the rules were there to make sure players _should_ have read them, like a preventive warning. So we should have no problem kicking people out of the servers that misbehave. Although we can indeed show a message between the ads like 'Say !rules in chat to see the rules. If you are in disagreement with our rules, you are ought not to make use of our servers.' Or something like 'By playing here, you automatically agree to our rules, say !rules in chat to view them.'
'-.- AND People PLEASE STOP THE TESTING! It's works, okay? Most announcements are from admins "testing".
lol, that's quite funny. but ofcourse not the way it should be used. and yes please, quit the testing and keep the annoucements for the players who really needs help Otherwise we might get a fire alarm syndrome.
yeah, that. xD you know, kids pushing the fire alarm, after 2 times people don't care anyone and they just stay in the room and then die due the whole building was on fire.
You mean the boy who cried wolf and yes snel, ofc. But now 3 other admins were testing as well. and it's getting annoying. especially during wars. because I can't check whether it's important or not. and I feel some sort of weird obligation to go and do my admin duties
