Scout update is going to be released next week!

OMG! AWESOME! it's a HOME FRICKEN RUN!!!!

You Scouts are gonna love this highly collectible bat that smacks baseballs at the other team, stunning the living crap outta anybody dumb, slow, drunk, mute or Australian enough to get in the way. The farther the ball flies before ricocheting offa some chucklehead's skull, the longer he's gonna be stunned. And guys who think they're tough because they're invulnerable? It works on them too. Now the bad news: You can't double jump when you're carrying this little beauty. On the other hand, double jumping never put anybody in a coma.

So übercharged players can be stunned too?

 

Lol, excited to see what this is going to bring. The new bat will surely bring a new twist to the gameplay, especially with the stunning which could completely ruin an uber. The servers will be flooded with scouts the next few weeks, i'll better go upgrade my sentry allready

 

That's the most annoying about a new update. EVERYONE will be a scout. Can't wait for the spy update

in a moment scout will also be a great defender cuz of the stunning he can bounce of übers

 

that will cause a lot of irritation for us medics. Finally got a uber ready, is a stupid scout able to stop you. :cry:

 

yeah well more reason to get your gun out and kill those scouts! :badgrin:

I hope there are new maps, maybe new game mode but probally not :roll:

 

I think I'll be adding some hours to my engineering time the next weeks

 

i must say cp_junction looks fine to me. Although i never play arena i will play that one as well maybe. But there will be a lot of achievement hunting in the servers after the update.

pitty it doesn't say exactly what you have to do to get the achievs.. some you can guess though..

 

yeah tuesday it will be clear.
but it of course will be like: 100 kills with bat, kill 50 heavies eating a sandvich etc.

 

my god their adding "Egypt" to their custommaps..
is my memory this bad or is that just a big failure of a map?

edit: kay just tried it and it isnt as bad as i remember

 

Egypt is a nice map, but a custom and tf2 players hate customs ^^
