Server COMPETITIVE MAPS

    On the IP of the Prophunt server, 213.163.93.61:27015 we have had a Christmas server for a few days.
    Now it has been altered to a Custom Maps server for the time being.
    If its succesfull its gonna stay. We'll care about the Prophunt server when it has been properly fixed.

    These results I put in an excel sheet and I will look over the results to see what map(s) have to be taken out of the mapvote/cycle.

    If you make modifications in your list. Mark them with a color (like red)
    so I can see what has changed.
    Use a different color for each modifcation please and mention which modification you did when.

    But since we have a war-team now, maybe it's not bad for us to put the custom war-maps on our custom server.. to get the know the maps..

    pl_outback was a great succes last time we played it on custom evening, not that many people on the server tough but still the map played like a charm so i think the mapper did a great job balancing it (i even think it's more balanced then swiftwater xD) hope we get some more reactions on what maps suck and what maps are missing ;) i'll start a new event later on in the evening when most people are back home from work ;)

    I hope others do this as well.

    Maybe.... I should add a poll for this.

    cp_frontline_a1 = ok
    ctf_haarp_b2 = sucks, you can take your own intel
    cp_follower = very nice map, layout of badlands i think
    ctf_2fort_night = same but at night
    pl_swiftwater = mja, ok
    cp_castle4 = its ok...
    cp_freight_final = this is replaced by cp_freight?

    last time I checked it was just freight and not final, because of some imbalances or whatever stupid reason... Maybe that has changed in the meantime?

    cp_castle4 : = (Mixed feelings about this map. Has partially some flawed designchoices, but the style is generally nice.)

    ctf_flakey_b2 : Never played.
    cp_japan_v2 : = (Been a while since I played it. And I can imagine that this map is too cramped when the server is full.)

    cp_science2 : -- (I always disliked this map. It's a frustrating hell of a mess, since this map requires actual teamwork.)
    cp_stag : - (People never liked it, when we had it on the Server 1&2 and I'm pretty certain they won't like it on a custom server either.)
    cp_warpath2 : - (It is an homage to TFC, but still. The map is rather weird and not very likeable to me.)

    Suggestions:
    cp_lazytown (If you got busytown, why not lazytown as well?)
    cp_nighttown (another lazytown modification)
    cp_pacman_wtf_b6 (A silly map, but very well made.)
    ctf_vikings_final (People seem to like this custom map a lot. Could be a good idea.)
    pl_donkeykong_final (Silly map as well, but very likeable.)
    pl_dustbowl_b4 (Familiar map, other game concept. Works pretty well.)

    Due to lack of interest from the community for this server we decided to change it.

    It now only has the ETF2L maps in its cycle, which are:
    cp_freight
    cp_gullywash
    cp_labor
    cp_waste
    ctf_mach4
    cp_redstone_b2
    cp_science2
    cp_stag
    cp_warpath2
    ctf_smooth_b2

    Further the number of slots has decreased to 24 and the name has been changed from Custom Maps to ETF2L Maps.
    For its stats tt also has been added to the same group as All Maps 1 and 2 and the Payload server are in.

    If this change still doesn't attract players in the next two weeks we're gonna take it down again.

    Prophunt server will rise again as soon as DarkImmortal finished his 1.5 version.
    Preperations for this already have been made on the dedicated server.
