Today I successfully did my Theoretical Test for the driving license (A1, B) and next week I hope i can make my driving test for the car. And I am very lucky I can make my motorcycle/125 ccm licencse before vacation ends and I will go to school with that machine, looks so hot ... My father and me have spoken about buying this machine for 3,4k mayybe, but i will give him some money for it too. http://ducatimonster.files.wordpress.co ... lack_r.jpg http://www.motorradonline.de/sixcms/med ... 278852.jpg doesnt this looks great?
I know its dangerous, and there is alot of critism, but thats my decision and I hope it wont be my first motorcycle.
You know, I was looking at that thinking "how the hell did the bike run over the car and leave it like that.."
bad bad bad bad really bad decision about the bike u should have bought a Motocross style motorcycle. they maybe wont go as fast as the bike you are going to buy, but the reaction from 0-100 is 3times faster than on your bike. yehh its my opinion yehh its your bike Good luck and Have fun with it Cheeeeeeeeeeers
/wave This forum needs more bikers Honda's are really reliable bikes. My advice don't give your dad any money but get yourself an advanced drivers training. They will learn you really how to control a bike. Honda's are really reliable bikes. For a 125cc bike it's a great choice. My honda
Bike looks really nice. Just make sure that this first bike isn't your last. When I remember my first car drives after getting the license, hell I wouldn't get me even tricycle.
the bike looks good, but 125cc is just freaking hilarious It sounds like it's doing 0-100 in under 3 secs but if you look, it's just moving along with traffic and changing gear every 10 km/h. A collegue at work had one of those "racer" bike 125cc for max 6 months Everytime he drove of the parking lot we were rolling on the floor laughing
Right, my honest opinion in this is that I'd rather take a drivers license first. Then go straight for heavy bikes. I've wasted money into the A1 and I regret it now when I would've needed them for the heavy. I started with a moped - Yamaha Fs1 Yankee - went on to the Yamaha TZR125 for bike - yeah, I got bored so fast... - and then took my drivers license for B + BE. But if you have parents willing to pay / saved up cash, sure go ahead. And no, I do not recommend the TZR... piece of crap sounds like its going to break at full throttle.
As example, i have my motor cycle exam and my gf too, first thing we drove was my kawasaki zx-6r 600cc, its still working out for us. Just make sure you drive normally, but then again i am older and wiser (or at least one would say) i actually didn't take a motor exam when i was younger mainly because of this..
MAX Speed I can drive is around 80-110km/h, i made A1 thats just for easy bikes so with 18 I can make my licensce for stronger stuff. I also maynt drive the porsche from my dad, till i am 21 or 26 too, or he has to pay a really expensive ensurance.
