IMO that's pretty useless except for the IM side, but if they want to allow people to chat with their Steam friends, they could at least start with releasing the protocol they're using so we could connect with any IM client from any platform without having to install the whole Steam platform -_- .
I hope I could get the steam files to a USB stick then and install it on my personal space on the schools harddisk, so I'll have steam on school as well. Now I get an error message about the disk not being an actual disk or something so steam can't install there.

With the iphone you can hold down the bottom button and press the top off key to do a screen shot anyway
I hope this means they are thinking about mobile verification when you login to a new computer, like gmail. Would stop all the hackings and stolen backpacks that have been going around recently.
Your account/data isnt stored on a hard drive in that machine, it will be on a central server somewhere in the school. Least that's how it is at my college. Steam probably doesn't allow you to install it on a network drive. Your lucky, i cant even run an exe at my college, unless i use command prompt :/ EDIT: My bro just got access to the beta, looks pretty slick.
Pretty nice tbh, I dont think the vibrate setting is working, whatever I set it, my phone just have a spazz everytime i get a message.
