y0, have you seen the steam new update? u can trade even if you are not in-game. its nice and so you dont have to launch the game. But you can trade games seriously wtf -,^
It can be interesting, it gives a monetary value to any item from the participating games. But if I understood well, you can only trade the games you bought as gifts ? Btw, I'm selling the few Spiral Knights items I have ; it's not much but I don't play this game anyway. I'd like to trade them for TF2 random weapons, or metal or w/e.
This has been in beta for ages now, been using it for about a month. You can trade hundreds of items in 1 transaction, and trade items directly for games so it should pretty much stop scamming. Alls we need now is for valve to integrate money for items; as there is still a risk when using paypal. But i dont think they ever will.
The only trouble with that is you can withdraw funds from the steam wallet, so would be no good for traders. When i cashed out i got about $160, in the past 3 weeks i turned that into about $320, but i have withdrawn about $80 from paypal to my bank account, wouldn't want to leave it all sat in steam wallet accumulating interest for valve.
A hundred and fifty items per trade to be precise Anyway, this is such a neat feature for me mainly because I don't have to launch TF2 every time I want to do a trade.
150? when it was first out in beta i could only be bothered to test it to 52, nice to know the full number though, why anyone would ever need 150 items in a trade i have no idea though. Edit: just thought it could be fore more than one item/game, but still 150 seems high.
