Another Market Gardener montage, or Trolldier montage, whatever you feel more comfortable with^^. I spent some time with After Effects to do the intro part of the video, I think I've done a pretty good job here. This is a milestone in editing for me, I'm really excited about your reactions. The kills are average I guess, they are from one tf2 session (about 1 hour). Song: Abby - Streets -'(caution I got addicted to this song )'- Enjoy! Also I love feedback! Nomnom. I got sick of bumping the old replay topic, this isn't a replay anyway
Yeah it kinda hurted my eyes(sitting in a dark room when it all started shining lol) but the rest was awesome! considering i was beaten by that gardener twice(or maybe three times), i feel glorious and sad at the same time lol
Honestly, i think that the beginning was a bit too much shaky/shiny. The rest of the video however was really nice
Yeah the intro is too hard to the eyes. Thanks for the feedback! I will avoid that in my future videos. Glad you enjoyed it. @howabe You can use a proxy changer like Stealthy (for google chrome). Goes for everything stupid GEMA blocks.
I do like the general idea of the intro like that. It was just slightly overdone. It might also be quite fun to end with a complete fail, of course you don't always have such footage, especially with just an hour of recording. But you jumping in and then getting airshot to death would be quite cool. Let the music stop abruptly the moment the rocket hits you etc, you get the idea. Nice work!
I'll look at this on a different view. Ignoring the actual content its self, the effects you used are a bit too much with the shaking and stuff. However: From personal experiences on software, in my case Photoshop, messing around and getting things to work (whether they be amazing or something new) is the best way to learn. If you keep doing stuff like this, following tutorials then soon the basics will become so natural you'll start pushing yourself and come up with some really nice effects. Here is an example I've always liked, nice music timing, effects arn't overdone and really good quality: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFdHTD6gyZ8
Thanks for the tips! I am still very new to After Effects, maybe covered 2% of everything it has to offer  . Learning slowly, but steady. Takes a loooot time til I could be so good as him (wow). Yeah, I think by experimenting and seeing the audiences reactions is the best way of improving, too.
