Thanks guys, there was a part two wich i made saterday. Spend like 5 hours gettting everything right then offcourse the render... Then after i wanted to upload it my hard drive crashed so thats 5 hours of my life wasted. (allthough my movie making skills aint anywhere near perfect i have been getting the hang of sony vegas and the second was a good deal better.)

Anyway i was thinking about getting more players in it. However this is kinda hard since you will either will need to make movies with something like fraps wich is basicly raw uncompressed data wich is how i do it myself. I then put them thru virtua dub and simply rerender all the parts i want into smaller avi files (still 100mb for 5 secs or so). After wich you start clueing them together.

Now this is not possible working with other people since i am not about to let say 6 people upload over 1GB of data in my direction (After recompresion in virtua dub that is). Now another way is simply to make a demo within TF2 then send that over. I will then take it apart and find the things i need so i can turn it into Lethal zone movie thingy. Now this will require some work from my part and i wont be putting all my spare time into it since i am already very busy as it is. So if you guys want me to make something like that then i will need demo's from everybody who want to be in it and then have some patience.

Now keep in mind that making a demo can have some serious effect on your system and thus decreasing your performance. So dont force yourself in something like that. I still want everybody to enjoy the game.

Anyway you can contact me the easiest way thru xfire on solidnl1982.

Hey man! I think I know what recording method you know but if you use a different method (raw data + vdub sounds too familiar) I'll type it out anyway since it's the best way of recording source movies. Thing about fraps is the framerate you get with fraps is dependant on your computer specs, since the recording is in real time, it ain't being slowed down, instead it just skips frames.
Try using the console commands "host_framerate x" (x=fps, use 90-120) and after that "startmovie y" (y=filename, doesn't really matter). As soon as you'll start the movie it'll probably be pretty slow recording compared to fraps but the thing is that this is specifically for Source games, it's not an external program or whatever so it'll slow the game down to compensate for your framedrops and in the end it will have recorded on 90-120 fps (it WILL do this even on a nintendo gameboy) after that just "stopmovie". In some TF2 (the equivalent to \cstrike lulz I'm not sure) folder there will literally be thousands of .tga files, one for every frame you recorded, as well as a .wav with recorded ingame sound. Just drag one .tga into VDub and it'll put it all in the correct order etc, then you just import the .wav too and render to .avi.

I think that's what you're doing aswell Solid, but it looks like it's recorded with maybe 60 fps, have a look at this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkZLJeQ1Nhc&fmt=18
Pretty much the best sniper video out there, with good synching and frags, if I compare that to your vid then I'm sorry but I have to say that imo that sniper vid looks much more fluid, thus, I don't know, more fun to watch.

Another thing I noticed, some moments of only one frag, then it goes to the next scene, you should use multi frag scenes, lots and lots of multi frag scenes. Since you're a soldier you should get midair rockets too, lots and lots of midair rockets:p Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NuaJ8r_aE-U&fmt=18

I'm not trying to be an ass and point out your "mistakes", just trying to give some tips used by professional fragvid makers

I dont mind people pointing me out on mistakes. Since i am nowhere close to being some kick video maker. However the way you describing of making video's slows my game even further down the last time i tried it. It simply was getting unplayeble. Fraps pulls me down to around 50 fps thats why i chose that plus its i bit less time consuming. Then there is the point of that after every map you will need to restart the video i tend to forget these things while with fraps i can simply keep it running for hours on end.

Agreed that the events of the kills being made could be better but this was what i had at that time and i simply was using that to get down the basics of sony vegas. The second one was already alot better in that department. Now as for the guys that made the sniper movie i am nowhere near such edditing that was indeed awnsome to watch. Not to mention i am not as good that i can make such kills as a sniper :D

But for other people to get into a movie that made by someone else is still to simply record a demo with record. They will get a demo file in their tf2 folder wich is not that large. Once they send it i can simply replay it within TF2 and find all the better kills in it and simply record them.

Nah man I think you misunderstood you're not supposed to use startmovie while playing, I think there's no pc out there that can record and play at the same time with 100+ fps :p
What you need to do for that method, just record every time you play, record x (x=demoname, will come in tf2 folder) and "stop" it when you're done, only use "startmovie" "host_framerate 120" "stopmovie" when you're watching a demo and not playing :p Since on the demo the playing has already been done and you're just reviewing it you can run the startmovie command, it'll be laggy yeah but since you're not playing it doesn't matter, it'll be the most fluid vid you'll ever get if you do it that way
