Why do people take the large metal pack at the start of a game when you KNOW that your engie really need's it to built your TEAM defenses?

Why do pyro don't spy check when recharging a dispenser?

Need a slap button over the internet.

Spiff, not all players are teamplayers, or really have any idea on how to play a game and even win it.. ;)

I was with you and I know how you feel. I've played a lot of engineer, and numerous timesI've died because people stole my metal or because I got backstabbed with a pyro walking around.

It was this lack of teamplay on my team (and the overobvious teamstacking on the other team) that made me stop playing for now. I've tried again since yesterday but I'm lagging like hell, just like my other games do. TF2 sucks for me recently and I wish it could return to normal.

Why don't medics heal me when FAT ADAM is around?

But seriously, that's why I always try to go into the team with regulars. This game is so much better when you play with people that know what they are doing.

ps. Why doesn't anyone seem to know that you can shoot and destroy stickies and pipes.

    /signed.
Some Medics just look who's the top player in their team and stick with them for the whole game and don't bother to heal anyone else - not even a little healthbuff.
I wouldn't mind if they would at least heal me at parts, even if I'm just a little Engi. But when I'm burning to death, then I'm burning to death.
Also it would be nice if they would Uber the appropriate class instead of just THE to players. But if it comes to take down whole Sentryfarms you better rely on a Demo instead of FattyMcFatFat.

You can destroy pipes by shooting them...? That's something I didn't know... then again it's way easier just to dodge instead of trying to shot them.

I wonder if it's possible to make a server exclusive for regulars. Something like a 12-slot server, password protected (password would be retrievable here in the forum) and a standard mapcycle.

People who run in trying to outflank or attack opponents when I'm trying to stab them make me cringe >_>

I think that Medics who stick to one person are getting less points.
Medics that buff everyone get more points to, as you get points for healing a X amount of health + you build uber faster + your entire team will love you for it.

If you are in an enclosed space and a crit pipe comes flying in, bounces, you wish you knew.

I am working on having a pug night just with regulars in a 6v6 kind of way. I have asked to Doelwit if this was possible and I have not yet gotten an answer.
Since Lethalzone does own a 12-slot tf2 server, I would like to see a pug every week or so.

I've noticed the teamplay has been at an absolute low again for the last few days, no one goes medic anymore and when I'm so tired of it that I switch to medic, all I have to heal are scouts, spies and snipers while getting overrun by heavy-medic pairs.

Yesterday we had a map end with 2 snipers in the top 3 players, if pure kill-classes can score that high on a cart-map there's something pretty wrong with the game/server population..

Also, is it possible to edit the cart textures to be bright yellow and flashing or something, because I feel like the last few days I'm the only player on my team actually pushing the cart while all the rest keeps dieing trying to get some frags. I swear I pushed the cart on my own on badwater from the tunnel to half way CP2 and CP3 with no one but marmot (medic) helping me..

yh the teamplay is rly weird sometimes...had the same yesterday...was the only medic in my team and had to heal only scouts, snipers and spys = no fun. i often try to insist my team to play at least a few real attacking classes but often my words get lost in cyberspace...

    True.
That would be lovely. I'd be sure in for some pugs.

Heh... had a similar game. Joined a team without Medics on Well. Though "Okay, they need a Healer for progress".
A couple of minutes later I swapped class - it was pointless. No really Meat-Class around to buff and so no real protector. I most wandered around with no patient whatsoever...
    It was pointless...

That is normal with the incoming sniper/spy update. People want to get a headstart by understanding the classes. Also the scout update was last.

I am usually the only soldier on my team now :(

Why would a medic heal someone when there are better players to be healed. I know it's rude, but that's pretty much the way they think...

I play almost always medic, and it's for a medic easier to heal a slow person and more fun to heal a good person because some people don't protect the medic or stealing the only healtkit right in front off a burning medic.
Besides, if i play with 11 other players it's almost impossible to do good for everyone, sometimes i have to choose for one player between 2 or more players calling for help because i'm not fast/good enough.

Quite funny thing I've experienced a couple of times now when playing medic: scouts on fire calling for medic but always running around so when you try to heal them, they are always out of your healing range.

Yesterday I chased a scout around half the map trying to get close enough to heal him, but he just kept running forward calling for a medic *sigh*

Suits them nicely to burn to death :p

You know what I hate more? Medics that must spycheck you before they will heal you. Sawing you while you burn to death.

all the crap you guys have discussed in the preview posts made me quit(for a while at least) TF2, i even think they should change the name of the game in 'Solo Fortress 2'...
well, that and the fact i've broken my left ringfinger 8)

I tend to go medic when there's no medic on the team yet. I'll heal everyone that burns or is red, except maybe when I have an uber (almost) ready or when I'm going to follow someone straight towards to offense. Remind me not to heal Link since he doesnt care.

I would like to see a server for all the regulars, so I can play on the normal servers again. I'm getting so sick of fighting against all the rasta's or other regulars that just so happen to be in one team.

What also pisses me off is that people start taking this game more and more as a deathmatch shooter. Nobody goes for objectives really. Some do of course, (usually the enemy), but I keep seeing way to many players getting themselves kille without any benefit.

I know what you mean, sometimes it isn't equal divided but you can always ask for a scramble or take one of the other 5 servers.
And i understand them too, they just like to play with ther clanmembers, who are strong players.

This is true, however I tend to join the team with the regulars, because that way I am assured a team that works together.
