So,what do you guys think about this TF2 beta? I both like it and dislike it: -I like it,because I mean,we're testing new weapons and maps and that must be cool -On the other hand,i just don't know when to connect; you can't play TF2 and beta at the same time and you have to decide. Waiting for your thoughts guys!
I like the fact that I can get the achievements again and that I see the 'You have nearly beat x from class x' pop up again. In the normal TF2 I have all the achievements and my classbased thingies are absurdly high so I don't see those things anymore. If I could reset it all while keeping all my weapons (ie beta mode) I would do it.
you know, you CAN reset it in the normal game and still keep your weapons. at least your stats that is, not the achievments. i've done that every now and then after fucking up my stats with something (like beeing alive for 15 minutes as a scout because we were having a tacticsession without oponents, or farming for the achievments)
does it reset everything? wished there was a way to reset some stuff not going to trow away my awsome medic stats because it's something that keeps me on my guard and i'm always trying to beat those records. i do want to reset my heavy stats tough (more then 500 kills ^^) alltough i never play heavy it still looks weird will make a screenie from my stats one of these day's
<a class="postlink" href="http://steamcommunity.com/id/kickthebucket/stats/TF2" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://steamcommunity.com/id/kickthebucket/stats/TF2</a> It's just the achie's I like to redo.
*clicks on reset.* there now it's all reset oh..i thought you wanted it and with losing your playing time...sowwy OH oh ontopic: Its pretty cool, I like that we can test changes and balances "fixes" I don't think you could play it very long since the real deal has the complete package. So I would only play it if it has new stuff, changes etc and otherwise I would just keep playing the REAL tf2.
It's awesome if you have a decent engineer. The heavy received some changes, so it's not strange that he get's played a lot.
Ofcourse I understand, I tested it out as well. But I'm just looking forward to playing it in a competitive way
