    Hey guys,

    In the never ending attempt to make the forum a little bit easier to use, we try to keep the amount of sticky topics to a minimum. Therefore I unstickied the three separate map topics, and starting this new one. Almost everything in those topics was out-dated by now, so they weren't really needed anymore.

    Are there any maps you are missing in the mapcycle? Do you want to give feedback about a certain map (times it gets played/shows in the vote etc) and all the other map related stuff for all TF2 servers can now be posted here.

    Self made maps can still get their own topic though.

    Lets hear it!

    to keep "respect" if you update maps and place them online somewhere, name the author.. if you dont thats fine too but dont upload it anywhere but here then :)

    and to keep it all easy, please please please.. rename "arena_something" then to vsh_something" that makes it easier that it has been modified to fit vsh needs.

    Most maps that are fixed are for LZ-use only, so I hope that is not a problem. About renaming it to vsh_..., I'll remember Speedy :D

    Who added arena_hydroelectric_a8 to the vsh map rotation again? I thought we agreed to leave it out because of the insta-kill blades?

    Furnace or whatever it is called, has to be taken out of the rotation. A full server got wiped and never recoverd afterwards. And I mean, it got killed during prime time. There was five players on. And the absolute saddest thing is that the vote had both upward, dustbowl, hightower and thundermountain in it.

    New maps are good, but furnace never gets played, cause people really dislike the map, never download it etc..

    Just a opinion. Someone could raice the Roof of the Farm_feud map. It annoys most of the people when you can't barely rocketjump...

    Also: Snelv or anyone else: is it possible to play KoTH maps in vsh mode?

    its even possible to play 2fort in vshale, the gamemode won't work anymore but the plugins still do ^^
    but i guess only arena works for vshale because otherwise people keep spawning back and with koth you might not even have a saxton hale in your game

    Yeah, I mean if the mode still works :doubt: . I thought I found some mod at Alliedmodders which converts KoTH into vsh mode maps. Have to search for it again because there are some nice KoTH maps to play with vsh :D .

    I think they need to be converted to eithe vsh or arena maps manually. We should ask nemesis or other mappers.

    That's another possiblity, but there was a plug in which did that automaticaly.

    There is one map that I personally really miss in the cycle (or I am just blind at finding it) - Turbine...

    As much as I would love to play on it, I fail to find any server that has it in their mapcycle, much less finding one that actively runs it.
    If the map already exists in mapcycle on one of our servers, then, well...

    We have it, it comes in the vote now and then and gets played sometimes.

    As Killvion said, it's there in Am1/2.
    I tend to nominate it a lot myself, though it doesn't get voted in too often. Just have to wait for the right crowd to be playing for it.

    Hey guys. Väpä told me about this bug on Oilrig where the boss could just stay in the water for as long as he wanted without taking any damage.

    Im not sure if vsh bosses can do it since it was done by an FF boss. If a mapper could look into it and solve whatever it might be. If not I'd like if the map would be removed for now. As everyone knows players like to abuse small bugs and state "Oh it's not a big deal" Or something .

    I'll have a look into it, however I do think it has to do something with ff2 (Never saw this bug on vsh).

    edit:
    The teleport trigger only works for the blue team (should be the boss), red team just gets dmg and will stay in the pit.
    The screenshot shows the boss is on the blue team, so I don't think its a map bug.

    i think its just an bug map i think the trigger is not there or the prop has collise .. so he stand on the prop above the hurting trigger
