So we had the trade_plaza which crashes on physics errors (beacball and what not) from time to time. Then we have the trade_plaza_epic, which actually contains errors and has a *reliable* snapshot overflow. So basicly i could use some help here, which trade map do you guys know is GOOD and is not stupid. Putting on a dustbowl map for a trade server is pointless ;p Just look at some other trade server maps and see if you can find a good one. Thanks.
It seems all the trade maps are in fact... *puts on glasses* ...not worth a scrap. *YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAHHH!!!*
not going to put a rawr trade map on our servers.. ;p isn't there a map maker that can make a silly trade map?
trade maps are usually just a bigass room with some things in it, no? that should be easy for fatbyo to make
just make it so, that ppl in the spawnrooms can see eachother (red & blue spawnrooms) by a window (to show off hats etc), and when ppl come out of spawn, there should be a protected area where no damage can be done., only beyond that another room to spycrab, and a room to shoot eachother (bout the only place where they should be able to shoot eachother)

I've got no clue what your building.. Like datastorm said, a couple of room. Spawn protection, window between the 2 spawns so one can see eachother etc etc.. we dont really need a a pyramid for that needs to be clean and simple. The less weird stuff in there the better, since it will also improve framerate on the client and less strain on the server (i mean, do a big map on such a small thingy)
Jer9 is working on something awesome, let's wait for that. Also, he said upside down, so he probably means a hole in the middle with steps on the sides and four walkways down.
I am? ;D I'm busy making a trade map as well yes. dunno it's good or bad. It might be a bit small, but i'd rather wait for opinions before changing the size the texturing is done, just busy with lighting/small errors.
Sounds good, just make sure the glass wall is there so red can see blue, i mean after all on a trade map i can assume this is importance nr 1..
