a few youtube videos from a guy called Voogru, On his server he had problems with speed hackers, at first he set his server to record demos using source TV and autokill them as soon as they got near another player. Now he's tried a different method. After his server flags a speed hacker it stops them doing damage to their opponents and instead of the auto kill its now an instant death as soon as another player damages them. The server auto bans when they disconnect.

quite an unusual way of dealing with them

Haven't spotted any real cheaters, which is a good thing. Some griefing and bug exploiting, but that's to be expected :)

One time i joined the spectators to watch a sniper doing some -very- nice headshot action, but i didn't really find anything conclusive. Other than that i haven't really had any problems, i think TF2's fast action and teamplay are less vulnerable to hacks compared to more realistic single-shot kill games like CS. Although i have no experience with the original TF mod, so i don't know if it was a problem then.

    Nicely found.
Searched for there forum and found this. http://forums.voogru.com/showthread.php?t=10929

Maybe Eric can get in contact and ask what he has done to make it run like this.

Maybe it's something to run on our server, or at least test it.
