Hi. Many people complained about a few things in the last time, and ill try to sum up most of those that i can remember. Will add more if i find different ones. 1# Chris Brutal Sniper Rage Radius - Its difficult to rage a Pyro airblasting you away, since if he manages to airblast you before you rage, the pyro might be far enough away, to not be in the rage distance - On smaller maps its difficult. You can barely kill people with the huntsman precisely. If you rage, the Sentry says unraged, knocking you away from the people you managed to rage. - Pyros, Medics, Demomans can all survive a hit of a arrow if not an headshot, if overhealed. Very Frustrating since its hard enough to hit someone with a Arrow. - I think cbs has a higher knockback than hale, not sure tho. Ideas to Balance: - Give cbs a knockback Protection, so he actually has less knockback than Hale himself. #2 Vagineer's Uber Extending on Airblast - If Vagineer is Raging, he has already a relatively long Uber duration. Airblasts Extend it if in it. - While ubered, Airblasts still give you Rage percentage (Rage while Ubered possible) - Because he gains Rage while Ubered, he has a short time to get the next Rage/Uber. - Rounds with Vagineer take the longest round, since he is ubered most of the time. Ideas to Balance: - Vagineer's Uber shouldnt extend on Airblast. - Shouldnt recieve rage while Ubered. - Maybe less Knockback, so Vagineer isnt needed for the Uber to reach a double lvl 3 Sentry nest. #3 Flare Guns - Flaregun is a Detonator, giving minicrits on direct hit. Right mouse button makes it Detonate midair. Too confusing for new Players. Ideas to Balance: - Somehow disable the Manual Detonation, and give Crits on hit back.
For CBS, I mostly agree with you. His rage radius seem very small and arrows should deal more damage. However, I don't think giving him less knockback would be a great idea since he'd be able to jump in the middle of a group and killing everyone without others being able to knock him away :/ For Vagineer, the reason his uber extend if airblasted is to prevent pyro airblasting non-stop as soon as he rages. But with the new pyro mechanic, that should happen less often. For CBS: Make it such that arrows can be fired while in the air For Vagi: All of what yoshi said PLUS reduced airblast force while ubered (ie airblast pushes less) For ALL: Reduced knockback + airblast force for 5 seconds after weighdown
Good luck with that, since its inside the tf2 / Huntsman programmed. I have no clue how you could bypass it.
How do you think I bypassed the healing checks (checks within TF2 that prevent you from healing enemies)
