VSH - Demo sticky detonation upon death should be removed

    So basicly there have been alot of abuse lately with the demo's death revenge insta killing Hale. Some players seem to get a picture on how to use it and abuse it, I had to warn a player few days ago to stop abusing it cause he did it 3 times in a row.

    Many players complain about it so I'd suggest removing it.

    I agree on removing it. It causes an error almost every time the bombs detonate on death The whole server empties instantly because of "Buffer overlfow".

    Edit: I got killed once because 1 non-crit sticky, which dealed 20k dmg. I guess this says enough about how buggy the plug in is.

    i will try and fix this, but its such a nice "addition" if it didn't kill instantly.

    It is but in it's current state it's more damage than use... I mean sure, demo dies he does damage in the process but insta killing is a bit too much... not to mention causing everybody nearby crash with buffer overflow.

    Well im with you, Echo. The demo insta kill is too much. A demo ( with crit stickies or scottish resistance) can easyly deal 3-4k dmg. I think that´s enough. My personal record with stickies was 3detonations with around 3.5k each detonation. So I damaged hale around 10k and that IS enough...

    I just remember yesterday: I was chasing a medic and heavy ( I had 16k hp) and in the teleporter room of turrent testing there was a Demo with 8 sprayed NORMAL stickies.. He insta killed me when I went to use the jumppad to kill the Heavy and Medic.
    Also this bug (especially on turrent testing - 3times in one normal map time ) is very often used. Everyone just sprays stickies and boom there is the insta kill..

    But I had not have a Buffer Overflow while this glitch was used.

    Yes that sticky bug is really annoying.
    And when one of those f2p's who play the first time on lethal-zone VSH servers they ALWAYS say: "WOW im such a proooo"
    and THAT is the most annoying.

    and btw Snob the max damage of stickies without that bug is ca. 5.5k damage.

    Cracx if you get a lucky hit you can hit 4k with the stickies, an average hit deals almost 2k dmg and that is enough I think.

    I think the same as everyone else:

    Stickies should still detonate upon death but shouldn't insta-kill Hale

    Turret testing is the worst for this (although i like being demo there)
    Normal crit-sticky damage should be enough...

    We all agree on this one, but the problem is that this issue is a bug, which we can't control. It is not intended to insta kill hale, only to detonate on death.

    I just accidentally killed hale with 1 sticky when I wanted to sticky jump -_-'

    Ok then, remove it for now then, maybe until a fix is out? That is probably the best option so we don't get people insta killing hale, on purpose or by accident.

    needs Removed + could you make it so that them 'dead Stickys' just go away without leavin' any Gibs of itself? coz that does coz a bit of lag and sometimes makes people crash. :l (i'm not one of them)
