    Hello

I got a question about the queue on the VSHale server. It is changed to some sort of point system, but I can't figure out how it works.

Every round I (and probably the rest of the team) get 10 points. Can this be more points, or will it always be 10? And will these points stay when switching maps, or will they reset?

    Thanks for whoever answers

    Darkness

    Edit:
    Thanks rogi:

Probably lots of people know, they just didn't notice this topic.

Personally, I don't play it, so I don't know though.

Don't have the details but you should be able to find it here:
    VS Saxton Hale Mode
    or
just ask Snelvuur, he's really into this mod.

Thanks for linking to that site, but can't find anything that explains the point system.

I shall ask Snel if I see him in the vshale server, or if that's faster: wait for him to respond in this thread *fingers crossed*

The point system on both servers (as far as i know) is based on the amount of damage you do. The more damage the more points you get.

Usually you see the "cart escort" points coming by, thats just a way for the plugin author to hand out points at the end of the game. This is only done so you can know who are doing the most damage over multiple rounds. (usually me hehe)

anything else, or changes to the points system is in my eyes impossible for now (since one would have to recode actual parts of the plugin created by the authors)

And indeed, i dont always look at all posts, sometimes the "new posts" doesn't actually work because i was still logged in for example.

No he's asking about the queue points not the lethal zone points or the score points. :doubt:

For each played round, players gets 10 queue points. Guy, who has most points will be Hale, and his points will be setted to 0.

I'm not sure about this but if you leave the server you still have your points left if you come back and map change.
Edit:confirmed you can have x points and leave the server and later come back with those x points and map change wont turn your points to 0.

Also type /hale and press the "who's next?" to see your points.

Thanks for clearing that out . This works beter then the old queue system :D

And anyway: thank Snel for explaining on how players earn points.
PS: I understand you can't read (and aswer) on every (new) thread that got posted.

The reason why Snelvuur gave you the wrong answer is because when he plays TF2 he spends his time on Saxtoner mode not on Versus Saxton Hale mode what had an update with the queue points.

On my opinion Versus Saxton Hale mode is more better than Saxtoner mode and the creator of the VSH mode is gonna soon release a new plugin Freak Fortress 2 which will be more better. :D

Completely offtopic, but please, there is no such thing as "more better". It's simply good - better - the best .
Normally I don't mind people doing mistakes that much, but that one just struck the very core of my heart.

Pft, no worries, I just thought I'd point that out since it's a rather interesting mistake. :D

I know he spend more time on the saxtoner. (Because he has personal contact with the creater, because LZ tests the mod (Or did I have it wrong here?))

And just like you: I prefer Vshale above Saxtoner :D
