The remake of Day of the Dead. I'm not even going to bother describe how bad a zombie film it is. I'll just say this, there are fucking zombies that climb on roofs, that's all I need to say. And I agree of the Avatar hate.
Avatar rocks!! Ehmmm what about The American , sooo boringgg he just walks around and nothing happens....
Well what about if you explain why Avatar is the worst movie you've ever seen for you? It's not that I'm gonna fanboying here, but just from the technical standpoint the movie is very impressive. I mean there's more to it than fancy colors and shiny lights, Cameron actually did create a very intriguing and immersive world and solely that makes it better than many movies I've seen. The Room was at least pleasent to watch. It's bad, but it's the good kind of bad. ^^ My worst movie... Dragonball Evoultion was pretty awful, but wait, wait, wait... Meet the Spartans. There we go. That's probably the unfunniest movie I've ever seen in my entire life and I'm shocked that Friedberg and Seltzer are still allowed to make further movies like that probably equally putrid Twilight-parody.
I have the pleasant feature that I forget things I don't like. (Which sucks when it comes to a lot of school subjects though)
The American is one of the most beautiful films of the year, ever shot is carefully picked. The story has many layers, but they dont say that directly in to your face. The cinematography is a masterpiece. Why do people give this kind of "slow" but integer films a bad name, when there are flicks like Disaster movie, Epic movie and all this unfunny crap... And like I said before, just like cauchmar, Avatar can be not your taste, but bad? Its groundbreaking cinema on a technical level. Friedberg and Seltzer can make other movies, because they still earn a fortune on every one. One of the worst (blockbuster) movies ever besides Friedberg&Seltzer are twilight 2&3...
+1 . I watched every episode of the anime, so I was happy to see a film coming. Usually I'm not difficult to please (speaking of films ofc) but I really had to force myself watching it =( . Also, I disliked avatar too. Cameron said it took him 12 years to think it, but wow, the story sucks ! Nothing new at this level, really. No need to mention suspected plagiarism (Pocahontas and an other story, can't remember the name but I heard this was really, really similar). On an other hand, I enjoyed the first part of the film when he discovers the planet, there were really good ideas over there (Pandora's flowers, trees, animals were interesting ^^). But the second part is just boring (war and stuff). I think the worst movie I saw was Bad Lieutenant. Maybe I didn't understood it, but I don't even want to try again...
Yes same here, watched every episode (lol so many people actually watched this anime oO), it was just good, then there was a film coming up and i got crazy... well... they missed ~2 necessary persons from the anime and the actors didnt really look like in the series.. shitty movie, unfortunately ~~
I sort of agree with the Last Airbender. Watched every eps of the anime as well. However if you leave the anime out of picture, the movie was "okay" I think. It's just the comparison with the anime that makes it so damn bad.
my bro didnt watch the anime and when he watched the film he understood nothing, "why are there people who can control the elements" "why is there one who can control all of them" "why is this sokka so rude to his sister" (he's not in the anime ...)" especially the pronounciation sucked, id est "Sooka" (for Sokka) or "Ang" (for Aang) and i still dont know why they ignored suki lets see how they'll handle Volume 2 and 3 without her
"Underdog" was pretty bad, but that was a child's movie and I was probably too old for it when I watched it, so it doesn't really count. I'd say Step Up sucked, we had to watch it in school :doubt:, but that wasn't voluntary so yeah... Aside from that, I usually don't watch bad movies
Technically speaking it's not an anime. The Japanese meaning of anime doesn't specify the country of origin, but English language defines the word anime as animation originating from Japan. The Last Airbender originates from the US Whatever, it's similar to anime. Back on topic: worst movie I've ever seen was Saw. I've never understood what part actually makes it good.
