Hello LZ. Been a long long time since went out of lurking mode i started a thread. So here goes. I'm kinda curious about something. Usually, Idle servers are fixed to one map, which never changes to prevent dropping out when idling. But your idle server seem to roll with CTP maps that rotates. Is it supposed to be that way? To me, it seems like an ineffective way of keeping the idlers in your server if maps rotate and you get dropped after a while of inactivity. I might be wrong but it certainly seems that way. Yeah I saw this before too and said it to snelvuur, but I think he didn't fix it yet. Hopefully he has some time for this soon!
I think Snel is quite busy fixing all the other servers atm, cause of that nice MVM-update. I'm questioning myself, where is khad? Isn't he responsible for that to? Well in the meantime, all we can do is wait
I figured it was something like that, but i just didn't want to bother sneel personally over at the admin cave. Guess i'll just have to take my business somewhere else in the meantime, which sucks since i pretty much exclusively hang around the different LZ servers whenever i find myself playing TF2, haha.
It's usually running the idle map, but it started switching maps after... well... it crashes. All hail the MvM update.
an update is coming today from valve (should also fix some crashes) also, the idle server has a weird issue where it just crashes on "no free eddicts" , instead of crashing the server i've set it to change map if that occurs. I have changed the map cycle so it should just cycle to the idle map again.. hopefully that helps a bit for now.
