it's plastic on top and rough underneath so it doesn't slip (which does happen with all my other ones >_>)

The best mouse is a mouse that is well configured. No point in buying a 5700dpi mouse when using it at 600dpi.
Put it at max dpi then lower the sensitivity in windows/every game.
A lot of people go from a normal mouse to a high dpi mouse and then lower the dpi to normal because the mouse goes faster on high dpi. Dpi = dots per inch...
So if you come from example 600dpi, an inch will give 600 inputs, if you run a mouse on 1200dpi, it will give 1200 inputs, so basicly double the input to your pc, thus causing the pointer to double the speed on your screen. So lower the sensitivity in the game to return to you normal feel, but with double the precision.

My example is a logitech g500 always running a 5700dpi, and in windows the sensitivity slider is almost at the lowest setting. In every game i always have to start with at least half of the standard sensitivity. My rule of thumb is from left to right on my small mousemat( about 25 cm wide ) equals a 360° rotation in a shooter game on max dpi.
