Well that's it, we're off the Highlander Tournament. RIght now I feel a bit sad of course, but I've been happy to live this with you guys. We had really good/fun times (even if I don't talk that much on mumble, I really enjoyed our matches and trainings (except for today, 'cause I was really the worst spy you can imagine ) ), and I'm happy too to have had this opportunity to meet all of you and learn what playing as a team means. So, thanks to all of you (including our awesome backups/mercs ^^) for playing ! When I started this topic, I never thought we would go that far in the competition (we played 6 matchs and won 4, after all !). To be honest I never thought about winning the tournament either (sorry Killvion ), so I'm quite proud of our little community team . Also, I really want to say Thanks Killvion ! Because he put a lot of his time to make this possible (actually I've been the administrative leader for like... 5 days in the end of august ? :lol: ). I hope that someday we can do something like that again. See ya soon !
I'm proud of you guys. Really Really proud. Half the team didn't have any competitive experience and I think we did great. We managed to get SO far! We can look back at this with a smile, and keep playing in the ladder for fun. Great job guys!

Hey guys. Accessing forums on my android phone. Grandad is ok, just confined to bed. I've got to come back Thursday anyway for many reasons. I'll likely be visiting him again after New Years Day. Unlucky about the loss, but well played up until this point. Thank you Antou and Killvion for leading, Jer for protecting me and the team (you had one hell of a job) and to everyone else, you did your roles in the team well. No. We're still a community team. Nothing changed about that. + it might make people more aware of the fact LZ is a community with pub servers, and hopefully they'll join them

Amputator is a direct upgrade of the bonesaw. Of course there's a lot of debate whether for example the equalizer is an upgrade of the shovel or not, because it does have it's downsides; but the only imaginable downside the amputator has is the temptation to use the healing taunt, which can get you killed. No healing penalty, no slower swing time, not even the lack of random criticals, nothing. Well, of course the real downside is not being able to use the übersaw. :roll: Also, thing is, how long before Valve is going to sell jarate that reloads twice as fast? Or bonk with twice the duration? Sure, you could craft one yourself with a blueprint that takes 2 refined, or wait a month or four before the damn thing drops...
