I study Media and Entertainment Management. It's an HBO study, and I went to do it after i finished my VWO. Some people say I'm a dumb mofo for going down a level in education, but I think that don't mean shit.

Like said before, we need all kinds of people in our society/world. Some functions are a bit discutable if you ask me, but hey if they become happy by doing it, who am I to be a smartass?

I have had many different jobs. From Garbageman(is that a word in english? :p) to waiter. At the end of the day it doesn't matter what you, as you long as you can live your live. For me, I want to be happy with what I do. I could become a surgeon or a rocket scientist, but that isnt my cup of tea so I wont drink it.

My idealistic live is to play the guitar for a living. Even if I have to get 2 other jobs to get me and me family some dry bread on the table..

Or I could just marry some rich chick, cause my education aint gonna change the fact that Im a laze mofo xD

Earlier in the post I said that I like the writing part of journalism :) that's the reason why. Often ppl just don't realize the stuff I hide in my texts :( Still I laugh my ass off when writing those.

That is great I need a windowcleaner :)

    On a more serious note:
You have a lot of drop outs who are very smart and a very capable of doing a job on the level of someone who has studied for it. Sometimes I wonder about some ppl who have studied if they are capable to do some job and the guy without the papers does it even better.

But don't be fooled the guys and girls who do graduate have a big advantage above the guys/girls who don't have this paper. And the times a drop out performes better then someone with a university degree is not that much. In general you can say that the ones who graduate have more discipline and know better how to work on their own potential..

But never Judge on education alone. It is a good measurement to see if someone can work hard and has some discipline. But it does not show how that same person can interact with other ppl or how creative one can be in new situations.

I never look at someone educationlevel I rather look at what that guys has done in the past... and there is the main problem. Someone without an education has a hard way to show everyone what he is capable of. Ppl with an education are given this chance much earlier ;)

Anyway: being a student is the best period of your life !! So go study

Boring? lol. This is an uber important topic. There are only two things you do more than play on lethal servers : sleep and work. Talkign about sleep is... boring. So lets talk about work. :) Might as well make it cool.

At the moment, I'm studying Artificial Intelligence and Robotics at university. Hopefully with this I will carry it through to PhD (got another 6 years to go after this one :D 2 more bachelor with an industry year sandwiched, 1 master, 3 doctorate) and then go into research. I'd like to work on giving machine intelligence a human-like personality. I'm fortunate in that a) Britain seems to excell at this, and b) my university has one of the top AI researchers in the world heading the department of machine intelligence. So hopefully this is a realistic goal.

To fund it, at the moment I'm a bartender for a restaurant in the village I live in. It's... well, it pays, and I don't have to pay fuel costs to get there. I also have my own business, selling obsolete stock between car dealerships. It's really profitable, actually, so I think I'll stick with it a year or two then sell it on for megabucks :D
