its about all of ur (both server 1 and server 2) workin out the conditions and rules for the upcomming war betwin the two servers.... :roll: and its been little suggestions... so i recon most are fine with how i posted up.. so i will close this down and run whats been typed here.. on sunday if no more objections come.
see in other topic a date, namely 30.05.. is that the exact date? because i cant on that date need to work!
nothing is fixed yet.. its just my suggestion.. and dunc has expressed same.. he has said mabe sunday.. and keep it on sundays.. and i thnk it is a gr8t idea. but only 1 voice.. so plz post what changes u want to have.. and this go for LZ1 and LZ2.. and on this sunday. il post up the settings and rules that suites most of us... my deadlines are mostly suggestions. so every thing is up for discussion... but on this sunday is the when this topic will close.. and only how to make teams and map is up for discussion.. so il take every thing in to consideration and post the final settings and rules for the war. so if u got something on ur mind.. state so b4 upcoming sunday.. cuse this all threads considering setting and rules will be closed.. but map will be running.. exact date for that.. will be decided by nasher and melvin.. and how to pick teams will be closed not long after. so stay tuned on sunday.. to see when start date is.. and what days this war will be held. and all the rules for the war.
u see this as a 1 game thing.. i see this as something we can have several things.. and for that to happen.. we need to set up some rules that wont be changed.. yes.. it wold be easy to challenge to a match.. but to challenge 10 times.. u need to do this.. or it will be a mess each time u wish to have a match.. i want to have a ongoing war. so every one will have a chance to play... and mabe several times.. and reason behinde why i want to have several matches is that we have so many platyers... and so many will want to play that we cant let every one play at once.. thats why we have several matches.. thats why this ongoing prosess.. it has to be don.. but soon reflex.. soon u can walk around and kill people..
I really think that we can give a date when everything is fixed so we have a couple of things left to do, should we give the exact date this monday Rasengan?
this monday all the rules will be ready.. but only concerning these subject... * server rules. * server setup * what date is the start * what days the matches will be played * how many matches will be played * how many rounds each map.. (each side) we will play. * the conditions for winning a map.. and game.. * how many players on each team. * how maps that will be played the other subjecs as maps... well under way.. thanks to Melvinn and Nasher.. i thank u alot for taking this work off me.. cant express my gratitude but i want the maps ready by wensday 28.05.08 so eric have time to set up the server and make it rdy. for the upcomming warz\scrims. and some of us have a dry run to see if every thing is good. like swiching of maps and such stuff. well most know this better then me anyhow 8) 8) the list of players wanting to play is something i want don by wendsay 28.05.08 to.. so i can see how many thats interested in doing it. and those thread will be posted on upcoming monday. 29.05.08. where there will be a thread for LZ1 and one for LZ2. and if there is to many players wanting to play.. i will pick them out randomly. how.? all will be explained in those threads when the time is due.. so to sum it all up.. * rules and setup of the game will be posted on monday 26.05.08 (no changes will be made after that) * list of maps have to be at my pm box latest 28.05.08 wensday. * new thread of who wants to play will be posted on monday 26.05.08 (all who wants to play can post.. but only once pls) is this all clear? it shuld be.. 8)
Rasengan, Don't worry about the players that join the war, like you can see everybody who said they will be in are in my excel document and I will update them everytime I see that somebody will join So if you have more names, contact me... About the stats: I will make a list of kills etcetera, but maybe you can help me with that, people who wants to join, post it on the forum or contact Rasengan / me Peace Melvin
in if you're gonna do mr9 you might aswell make it cgs ruleset (which is basically cevo-p config with maxround 9, startmoney 16k, c4 timer 35 seconds, roundtime 1:20 (80 seconds), freezetime 15 seconds. bunnyhopping will be legal, and a player may not attempt to defuse through an object, a player caught doing this will cause his team to forfeit that round plus 3 additional rounds
After 9 (nine) rounds teams will swap, so CT's will be T's and T's will be CT's. Instead of starting with $800 (dollars) everyone will start off with $16000, so you can buy everything the first round. After 1 minute and 20 seconds terrorists will be out of time and CT's win the round (it's 3 minutes on public I think). The bomb will explode 35 seconds after being planted, players will have 15 seconds to buy weapons/armor and to call strats on teamspeak/ventrilo, after these 15 seconds the round starts. Bunnyhopping is allowed, defusing through a wall isn't allowed (example: dust2 bombsite a when the bomb is planted in the corner facing long a you can defuse through the wall while standing under the bomb
I think there shouldn't be any restrictions like "no defusing through walls" etc. I remember some tournament that had a rule that restricted throwing flashes over walls (???) ...stuff like that really blow. Also starting with 800$ would be better The time settings Duck said are fine though. Since we're playing 4 maps it's better to have short rounds.
Example: throwing a flash from long a entrance (from t spawn) to long a (pit/a side) or throwing a smoke over the mosque from t spawn all the way to bombsite B No really, pistolrounds usually decide the first 3 rounds (cause if you win you got money and the other team doesn't) and 3 rounds are just too much when playing mr9

The one next to cat walk and the ladders) Remember that this isn't 5on5, the money part will be a lot more similar to public than a actual war.
Cba quoting and removing the irrelevant parts atm Yeah example2 is A, cat walk is called kitty actually but it doesn't really matter And it's not 5on5? did I miss something?
The team sizes depend on how many ppl want to join and so far we already have quite many people so hopefully it will be like 8on8 -12on12
