Lol, went to UK and back with solely an ID card as well. Only need a passport when I need to put stamps in it, in order to travel.
It's different for UK residents than other EU citizens; your country is signed up to the Schengen Agreement: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schengen_Agreement Any country in the EU (and some outside the EU) that is signed up to it will let you travel between the countries without a passport, the UK and Ireland however are not signed up. Similarly i can travel to Ireland without a passport because of the Common Travel Agreement: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_Travel_Area Not quite sure how you got by with just an ID card Pab, did you have a short stay Visa of some sort? Slight OT
maybe he went with a ferry, i think you don't need stamps for that.. I only needed my ID too, when I had a schooltrip to London. a bbq at snelvuurs place, that would be cool
My parents are celebrating their 30th anniversary with a diner with the whole family in the Euromast in Rotterdam. I have to be there, can't let them down.
So yeah, home pretty awesome weekend. Thanks to Snelvuur, Killvion and Meta for letting me stay at theirs, and for pablo being the worst tour guide ever Although, ive never done so much walking in my life today, so i'm off to bed.
