yeah, I love rats too. I think this is just as bad as animal cruelty! I mean if we cut open animals to see how they function then why are we not allowed to cut open humans? So you really believe that the owner of those rats waited 4 years for those rats to die, before he sold them to a shop ^^? I don't think so..
well you might want to know that all the rats were fully grown, some of the female rats were even pregnant, most of them had a very small amount of body fat (so they didn't starve) looking at the stomach you could see he had food "brokjes" and there was not trauma that indicates that he was beaten, biten, his spine was perfectly fine etc etc. so IF they killed him, he would have gotten a syringe just like you would give him when he is ill.

No, I just believe that it's a fucking rat. Comparing rats to humans is like comparing..well there really isn't a comparement retarded enough for that, but I guess comparing shit to chocolate comes close.
I guess you haven't done much research to rats, since you didn't know rats are the most used animals in labs, simply because they're smart? anyway let's stop this conversation since that kinda doesn't belong in the 'fun' section anymore x)
I love arguments that add nothing to the discussion, nor have any valid point. Keep up the good work. Rats aren't "smart", cats aren't "smart", dogs aren't "smart". They're animals that can learn a few tricks. Comparing other animals to humans is pointless, because there isn't a single animal on planet earth that could take the place of humans. Animals have just enough rights as it is today. What about the rights of plants? They live too, you know, and they're smart too: most flowers can turn "facing" to where the sun is shining from...and stuff. If you didn't watch the Penn & Teller episode I linked above (other parts are in youtube too of course), please do so.

funny how you're criticizes him about having no valid point and no great arguments, if you use them as well.. I mean: come on, you could atleast gave some better arguments with that. like that a human mother could only bear one baby minimum which takes 9 months, where rats can bear more than 7 which takes 29 days. the human live for over 100 year and rats only 4, therefor it's less "bad' to just kill of a rat because the population will be back in no time. if we would test that with 2 mothers with a baby and 2 rats with in total 18 babies and we would have to kill off 4 babies. it would take longer and is worse for the 2 mothers than for the 2 rats... therefore it's much better to just go with a rat, then to kill off human baby.
If you really understood the meaning of "I believe they're fucking rats" you wouldn't have written the wall of text seen above so let me make myself clear. The AMOUNT or TIME have nothing to do with the ETHICAL and/or MORAL aspects of this so called "issue". Actually even thinking like that is blatantly crazy. There are too many people on this earth too, but it doesn't make killing off half of them morally justified. It's not morally "ok" that most out of the who knows how many thousand babies born in Africa each day die because of healthcare issues and loads of other stuff caused by stuff that's completely irrelevant in this issue. Do you see what we/I am talking about here? What we're talking about is: animals=humans, which is just a completely absurd idea. A person who can 100% honestly say to my face that animals should have equal rights as humans= total freedom, healthcare, etc. etc. etc. should spent a night or two in a cage with a pack of fucking wolves and see the harsh reality behind their Disney dreams. @ Killvion: no thanks, I only debate about stuff I actually care about. That's why the grade I got in our Finnish class's debation was 4½/10 (our scale is 4-10).
