oh well people who watch anime get stamped utaku right of the bat haha (and anime in it's turn gets stamped porn... HENTAI = PORN learn the diffrence haha)
But but.... hentai is porn. The word "hentai" even means "perverse", and they atribute it to porn, and H-Games, h-rated pictures and whatnot. Also, Cauchemar, there are fanatics everywhere. There is a reason as to why TF2 has a fanbase that doesn't even play the game, but writes erotic fanfiction of the cast instead. And yes, it's almost as big as the regular playerbase. I do have to mention that a large part of the bronie community is very weird, sometimes even frightening. But at least most, if not all, agree that r34 is baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad, and the biggest offender of it, furraffinity, is regularly insulted by more normal bronies, so there's that. But then again, there's also the whole deal with stuff like Rainity and all the "nopony"s and "anypony"s (I can't stress how much that annoys me. If you want to use it, keep it to pony sites only /rant). If I had to guess, I'd say this was helped with the willingness of the writers and the staff to go along with it. But another thing to consider, is that Trekkies are sometimes just as bad(or at least so I'm informed. Please correct me if wrong). In fact, any big fandom will have similiarities. Bronies are just vocal. Or at least have a big vocal minorit. On another note, I AM BACK!
These fanboys do make sure certain series keep on going, to the appreciation of many. Don't join them, but don't launch campaigns against them either.
Exactly. It's a paradox. It doesn't matter if you dislike or like them, you're going to lose anyway. Simply not giving two shits is the option I'm going to take.
Well, there's also the old saying: If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. =P But yeah, every fandom has weird aspects to it. It's just that the brony fandom is, well, big, and very vocal. So it's weird parts are more known than other weird part.
People say: if you can't beat them, join them. I say: If you can't beat them, beat them. Because they'll expect you to join them and therefore you'll have the element of surprise.
